Excellent location for leaving the car and exploring the city on foot. Only took approx 10 minutes to walk to the centre. The breakfast was very good, cooked to order, and there were options for vegetarian/vegan. The staff were very careful to accommodate food allergies and gave friendly, personal attention. The small lounge complete with honesty bar was a bonus to come back to and relax in. Enjoyed the riverside location with access to longer scenic riverside walks. It is also very close to the railway station for non-car users.
Only having one key for the room. Also, the bed in our room was a little uncomfortable and would benefit from refreshing; however, we did sleep well.

Breakfast and service were amazing. The hotel was very close to the train station, which is very good. In bathroom, there were big bottles of shower gel and shampoo, which was good.
The room was old and dusty. The sheets were a bit stained.

Very friendly and helpful staff, and great location
The room is in need of updating. The fixtures and fittings are quite grubby, eg rusty racks in the bathroom, worn carpet, stains in a few places.
