Attic room was fine for me but a tall person would have struggled with ceiling height and bed size. Shared bathroom had been soaked/splashed by other guests.

Dreadful, disgusting, dirty run down flop house

Nothing.

It was dirty outside the property, very run down looking. The room itself was large, but looked awful. The room had damp on the walls and mould all around the windows. There was condensation all down the windows so you could barely see out. The on-suite bathroom was a disabled bathroom that was dirty, there was a seat in the shower that was absolutely filthy, see my pics. No one should ever sit on this seat, it looks contaminated by many nasty bacteria’s. Some previous tenants left their toothpaste in the shower, which makes me think it has t been appropriately cleaned between users. The wires looked unsafe and should not be strung up like this. There was a dead orchid. plant in the room, It was run down and completely inappropriate for the payment especially as the cost was identical to many other properties that were available. There was no way I was going to stay here it gave me the creeps. For £115 I would expect more at least a clean room. This place is awful. Needless to say we left immediately and was forced to drive home over 2 hours away, ruining my weekend away. I was told by booking.com I would receive my money back however the owner Biplab refused to return my money saying he never received the email to respond to booking.com who did say they sent it more than once. I said I would leave poor feedback if I didn’t get my money back as I was there for 15 minutes at the longest and early in the day so he could get another victim to stay here however he has since refused so I am £115 out of pocket. I am leaving this poor feedback in response as promised due to their refusal to return my money. No compensation from booking.com either so a completely wasted weekend away.

A good place to stay and well located.

The check-in procedure, very comfortable bed and pillows, room temperature and very good continental breakfast. Also excellent communication with Biplab.

Overall pleasant and comfortable

Very comfortable bed; clean, good quality sheets; lots of pillows; a space heater in the room to take the edge off a cooler night; wonderful big bathtub; impressive soaps for the chemically-sensitive among us; very pleasant and accommodating host; extensive range of options for breakfast including a very cool coffee machine; a lot of interesting guests to speak with over breakfast. And, when we arrived not only did he let us drop our bags early, he let us sit down to a cup of tea and a bowl of many of my favorite chocolates to welcome us and take the edge off our trip. This host clearly puts a lot of thought for his guest's comfort into his amenities.

The guest under me snored all night long, which even earplugs did not address. Also the bright light in the stairwell that came on every time I went to the bathroom (which unfortunately was many times), woke me up even more, when there was plenty of ambient light to see. Also unfortunately, the other guest with whom I shared the bathroom, instead of waiting in his room in the morning when I was already using the bathroom, waited outside the door -- not pleasant first thing in the morning when I was still in my pajamas and in no mood to be sociable... None of these the hotel's fault (tho he did acknowledge he might reduce the wattage of the bulbs in the "nightlight"), BTW.

Delightful stay in a perfect location.

Perfect location for walking to where I needed to get to / from. Train station, Waitrose and The King’s Centre all within easy walking distance. Excellent communication prior to arrival. Exceptional continental buffet breakfast laid out. I couldn’t be happier.

A lovely, peaceful place to stay; clean and friendly - I recommend it.

My room was lovely and cosy. The host was really kind and helpful.The breakfast included ample supply. And the communal breakfast space provided a friendly set up for guests to chat. The inside of the hotel is light and peaceful. TIt feels like the owners really care for the guests comfort

Tired & overpriced

The bed was comfortable. The room was tired but clean. Entry instructions were accurate.

Our room on the ground floor was filled with a collection of mismatched junk shop furniture. The net curtains didn't extend across the whole of the bay window & we were only around 3 foot from the pavement. Whilst there was a fully accessible wet room, not a need for us, but I wondered how a wheelchair user would enter the building at all as there was no ramp at either entrances. Breakfast was plentiful but dining room was cluttered & cramped.

Family friendly, good distance from the station

Quiet, spacious room which was perfect for travelling with my child. Comfortable and clean and very close to the train station. I was able to check-in a bit early with no problem. Friendly, helpful host to welcome us. Easy access and departure. There was a huge selection at breakfast ! Gluten free options too :)

It was a place to put your head. It has so much potential though

It was within a mile of our attraction, albeit, there was no sight of the owner or staff. Communication was good to self enter the accomadation. The continetal breakfast had good choice.

The room wasn't the cleanest.with stains on pillows sheets and walls needed attention. The water pressure in the shower was poor (if you wanted a hot shower). No privacy in the room, unless you shut the curtains. The kettle put more water on the unit, than in the cup. Tv remote full of sellotape to keep it together.

A visit to Blenheim

The room was nice and the bed comfortable. And it was fairly quiet at night. The man who was cleaning the rooms was really nice and hospitable.

The shower kept cold until the finish of the shower. And we never figured how the shower door was supposed to function. The breakfast was very limited. Lots of construction work around the road to get here.

Car parking was a bit of a lottery. The staff helped us find a space but it would have been very inconvevient if we'd arrived too late to get one of the allocated spaces.

Great value-for-money guest house!

The guest house is conveniently located close to the train station. The instructions for check-in were very detailed and easy to follow. The room was spacious enough and well equipped. The breakfast was way more plentyful than expected.

1) Relatively accessible to the train station 2) Autonomy to get food or drinks from the fridge during different times.

Lots of problems. 1) there are lots of bugs and the cleanliness is not that good (lots of bugs and some dust) relative to the price we paid. It is hard to sleep at night. 2) lack of staff for service. Just mostly self-serve for breakfast, which is quite expensive for that. 3) the key doors are really hard to access be it front doors or back doors 4) it seems the hot water or how to turn on the shower is not properly working, which makes it hard for us to shower with cold water. 5) the rooms are mostly accessible by stairs only. Not really accessible for those with luggage. Update: The owner has been reminding me to remove this comment. However, the business needs an honest review to improve.

It was close to the Kings Centre which was really convenient for us.

It was a bit noisy from the street outside but it didn’t last for long. Mattress wasn’t really hard enough for me but that’s a personal thing not a criticism.

A nice guest house with a homely feel, great location.

Clear instructions provided before our arrival about 'check-in'. With-in easy walking distance of both the Park and Ride and the City Centre Room was a good size, clean and well equipped (towels, toiletries. hair dryer, tea/coffee etc). Comfortable bed with decent pillows A nice 'self service' breakfast and a really good coffee machine.

Great as ever

As ever, this place is in a very convenient location close to the station, the self check-in is useful if you're arriving late, the buffet breakfast is generous and the host is friendly. This time I had a sweet little attic room with an old fireplace and a window that opened :) Thanks Biplab!

A very dirty and uncomfortable location.

Location was good and that’s about it.

Where do I begin…the property is not cared for. Very rubbed down. Major remodeling should be considered. Flooring was disgusting. Mold in the bathroom and shower was disgusting. I would suggest Booking.com to drop this location.

Good value for money

The room was big, the location was ideal and the breakfast included was very good. They provide coffee, biscuits and other little things such as travel adapters for you to use.

The staff is not very chatty or welcoming. The hot water did not have enough pressure. The rooms and bathrooms need some TLC. The self serving system at breakfast could be improved so that all dishes don't pile up in the kitchen/dinning rom as it looks messy.
