A lovely tranquil stay with easy access to the City

Kavita has created a really tranquil space with lots of really nice holistic touches. The room was spacious and comortable with kitchenette and eating space with table & chairs. Breakfast is provided in the room but with plenty of choice. The 'out of hours' check-in worked well. Kavita herself was very warm and friendly. Sitauated on a quick & frequent bus service into the city you're able to avoid the new congesetion charge. Would thoroughy recommend a stay here.

Mini kitchen (kettle, teapot, crockery/cutlery, microwave and fridge). Hot water and power shower. Good towels. Spacious room. Quiet for a main road location. Friendly staff.

Mattress rather poor. Bath rather than a walk in shower - not easy to get in and out of and slippy - need a mat.

Staffs were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean.

Location is a bit far away, but still easy to get to Summertown (walking) and Oxford city centre (bus).

Adequate

Adequate spacious room. No real problems with the room itself. Entry a bit fiddly as the hotel is split into two separate buildings. If the (miniscule) carpark is full when you arrive, it creates a problem of where to leave your car while you try to locate your key, and your building, and unmarked entry door.

Car parking although advertised is far too small for the number of rooms and this was a major consideration in my choosing a hotel. The threatened charge for every hour you do not remove your car after 'scheduled checkout time' is not mentioned until you get there and is not very friendly. There are a few (about 3) parking spaces in the neighbouring street but only at weekends.

Amazing soul place

Very cozy with everything needed there. Very welcoming staff and easy to get to the city centre. Coming there I felt like this guest house has a soul, it was a very pleasant stay.

Lovely room with kitchenette

Easy to get to the city centre. Very reasonable price given the facilities including the kitchenette and bathtub. Some staff members were very helpful. Quiet at night.

A bit away from supermarkets. The cleaning could have been done more thoroughly. Some staff members were not willing to help. The kitchenette may be equipped with some kitchen towels. The floor towel wasn't exchanged daily. Compared to other hotel rooms I stayed in the UK around the same time, the room was cold. No decaf teabags. This was my second time staying here, and although I think I'll stay here again, but there is always a major problem in the room (light, water supply) upon arrival.

It was great as a place to return to after days out.

Very clean and comfortable with an excellent sized room. Staff very friendly. Plenty of tea and coffee making supplies with fresh milk which was replenished daily Deliveroo worked well

Parking was tricky with no free spaces on site. However parking was available in street around the corner but you had to be moved by 8 or 9 am depending on the side of the road you parked and could not return until late afternoon as the spaces were limited to residents parking. Some elements of the continental breakfast were not brilliant - croissants not fresh but otherwise satisfactory Could do with some mugs rather than the small cups

The room was large and well appointed with a kitchenette. Oxford was walkable from the accommodation. There was free on site parking.

It would have been nice to have a free-standing shower, not over the bath. Road was busy/noisy at night. Not terrible though.

Oxford stay

Our twin room was very comfortable and it was terrific to have the kitchenette area. The location wasn't far from the main city area and there was easy transport by bus into the city centre.

Lovely cosy stay

I was really happy with the accommodation and the location. Just a very short distance outside of Oxford, the bus stop is within minutes with a regular bus service - it takes 10/15 mins to get to the centre. The room was very quiet on a night and you did not get the noise that you sometimes get from adjoining rooms in hotels! If I visit Oxford again which I am sure I will because I loved it, I would stay here.
