Eurobar & Hotel

The room and the location was great. Clean and comfortable.

First impressions were scruffy but when the halls are decorated and finished it will be a gem.

Clean, close to train station and town centre. For the amount paid, excellent for a stopover. Not noisy, good sized room, comfortable beds,

all fine

We contacted the hotel and asked the nearest car park which they replied Worcester Street Car park which was literally across the road. £41.90 per 24 hours which to be fair we were happy to pay as needed car close by. Check in was easy and man was pleasant and gave us pass codes for room door and main entrance. We stayed in room 10 which was clean and tidy. Clean bedding and towels. Bed was really comfy and there was a fan in the room which we used, Shower was good with hot water. Considering I was a bit concerned about past reviews it was not a 5 star hotel but notes around saying undergoing renovation and nothing that gave me concern.

There was not anything that I did not like but the things people have said about in reviews I can comment on such as the music from the bar downstairs. Yes was playing but was muffled and did not really bother my husband or myself. The staircase needs a lick of paint. Parts have been painted and some still to do.

The hotel is central and the bed was comfortable. It was a hot August night, and I was happy there was a large portable fan in my room. I paid £110 for one night, which is cheap for Oxford in August. In the end, I had a good night's sleep amd the location was perfect for me.

I was aware that the rooms are above a very loud bar/club. I was on the top floor (good) and had earplugs with me, so was not kept awake.
