It was a sensible location to visit Oxford

Comfortable & what we expected.

We were given an upgrade on arrival. The bed was huge the room very comfortable the room was very comfortable. We have decided to come back as Oxford has so much to see & we hardly saw a quarter of it.

I didn't like the way the floors were numbered. We are British we start on the Ground Floor not the first, it's so disrespectful to try forcing us into American/Canadian ways!

We were pleasantly surprised to find a lovely two-tier cake made out of towels with beautiful decorations in our room for my husband’s birthday, such a thoughtful and creative gesture. The staff were extremely polite, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay, which made the experience even more special. Thank you for making his birthday memorable.

Location is great for Oxford. Hotel clean and modern. Lots of parking at a reasonable rate.

Service is always a bit slow in the restaurant (individuals very pleasant and helpful, but not many of them). Food choices for gluten free not great, especially at breakfast.

Perfectly nice for an overnighter.

Staff were very welcoming and helpful as soon as we arrived. Bedroom (twin) was spacious. Huge telly. Its a short walk to park and ride. If you do need to get to the centre of Oxford, I suggest you pay for park and ride parking instead of hotel parking because the bus ticket is included in park and ride price.

one plug socket in 219 broken and all sockets near the back wall, not the beds. woken by housekeeping at 8am. presumably because I hadn't put a sign up on door saying no cleaning required, however we were only there for one night so I didn't think it necessary. beds really soft - comfy to lie on - but both of us had backache the next day.

Great location for Oxford

Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good and well organised. Plenty of parking and park and ride around the corner for busses to Oxford.

We had DBB package, when we arrived for dinner the waitress was making a big fuss she gave us the wrong menu even though we said DBB and that we should have a voucher yet we had already discussed it with reception when we checked in.

Good, but spoilt by lack of fresh air in the room.

We were upgraded and given a room on the ground floor, which was very generous. The shower in that room was spacious and excellent. Good supply of soaps and shampoos. Heavy curtains completely blocked the lights of incoming cars to the parking spaces outside the window. The bed was comfortable. The room was quiet. The dining area was spacious and very welcoming. Tables well spread out for ease. Breakfast was excellent. Gluten free well provided for, except that for the two days we were they advertised GF sausages, but didn't have them.

The room smelt musty, even after two days of air blowing through the heating/a/c vents. The duvet was heavy. Duvet cover didn't appear to be clean. TV was enormous and dominated the room. We don't all watch TV. View of car park, with trees in distance. Promised 'free snacks' - which we didn't want or need - were so paltry that it would have been better not to have provided them. Fridge temperature was too high to keep anything cool.

Really nice, comfortable hotel for the price range. Staff were lovely and room was great. The bed was really comfy and the room was spacious.

If I have to find a criticism, the tea tray could have a few extra bits. It seemed a bit sparse and really would be better not to have it, than to have it stocked with so little.

Really good hotel great room, excellant breakfast, very good meal in the afternoon good choices. Hotel close to Blenhiem Palace where we had booked a tour. Staff very pleasant and helpful, would highly recommend this hotel.

Great staff, good breakfast, but broken air conditioning unit spoilt our stay

The check-in staff were fabulous, the breakfast great, and transport into town (by the Park & Ride bus) is good, too

Unfortunately, our air conditioning unit didn't work and the room was baking hot. We thought it would cool after a few minutes and went to bed (there was a warning note on the controller to say to allow 15 minutes+) but at 2am we woke up. Fortunately, after a while, we managed to open a window and the room eventually called, but it was a grim night.

A very good hotel, clean and comfortable with great access into the city centre.

It’s a good location to explore Oxford, it’s an easy drive into the city centre or, if preferred, it’s right nextdoor to park and ride. The evening meal we had in the restaurant was very good. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful.

A lovely spot to stay after a long driving day.

It was great to have breakfast available with a wide choice of foods. It made it easy to have breakfast and get on our way, without having to find somewhere to eat.
