Good hotel. Swimming pool smaller then we expected. Asked gor dressing grown before we arrived. Told they had none would get them next day but we never did. Staff were all really nice.

Bathroom. The bath was really high difficult to get in and out to have shower.

Felt very luxurious, location was 5 minutes walk to park and ride, swimming pool was reasonable but you should book.

Double beds seemed small. Swimming pool was also a bit on the small side! Skipped breakfast as it's a bit expensive.

Clean and nice bright entrance. Staff in restaurant were lovely

On arrival member of staff on mobile phone so didn't greet us or put mobile phone down when coming round to take our luggage from us to store. Stayed in room 153 and really bad noise that came and went throughout the night. We guessed it was the air con for rooms above but not sure. It disrupted sleep.

Loved our stay - comfortable, great facilities, exceptional staff.

Great location. Easy access to the city by public transport. Room comfortable-nice gesture leaving few snack bar and soft drink in room. Varied choice for breakfast - full English, fruit, cereal, yoghurt, pastries. Car park on site -£8 per 24 hrs. Staff exceptional and service outstanding. Had dinner in the Marco Pierre White restaurant- food was of higher quality and delicious. Lovely White Company Noir toiletries. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Wonderful hotel, great experience!

Gorgeous hotel, staff/service was excellent, and it was great value for money. Plus the Prosecco on arrival was a very pleasant surprise! Would definitely stay here again.

Not as close to the city centre as I’d hoped, so we had to rely on Ubers/buses. But that’s the only negative!

Attended a 50th wedding anniversary, the DJ, evening meal and staff were brilliant

The breakfast was really disappointing, there was a 5 strong queue for the single coffee/tea machine. The selection of fresh fruit was poor. I have stayed in hotels 3 times in the last 12months and I am afraid you failed sadly

Not much.

Too much to say but in a nutshell, their heating and air circulation system does not work. All on some of the coldest winter days for some time. And they don’t care. The heating system in our room constantly malfunctioned: no air circulation; suddenly switched from no air to pumping cold air on regardless of what the temp setting was set; no working extractor in the bathroom which meant that after family showers the steam moisture intensity meant we had to open the room door to the corridor and open the window wide - all on a really cold January day; two engineers tried to fix it and the first insisted all was ok while the second did at least try but it still constantly malfunctioned; reception couldn’t care less with no offer of a room change bit a rather pathetic portable heater that smelt of dust when hot. The hotel chucked me a 20% discount when I loudly complained for the fourth time at checkout but that was just to get rid of me. And this had been an anniversary weekend away for my wife and I. Utterly ruined. APPALLING HOTEL. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Clean and comfortable, would book again

Clean and comfortable rooms, great location for being able to visit Oxford City Centre. Bus stop is one minute away and it's really close to the Pear Tree park & ride service. There was an issue with our booking (on Booking.com's side, not the hotel) I called and spoke to the night manager who got everything sorted with no issues. Receptionist Sania who checked us in was lovely, really friendly and informative and gave us lots of helpful info about the buses. There were some goodies left in our room for us too. I was impressed with breakfast, food was delicious and plentiful, lots of choice, every staff member we dealt with was friendly and welcoming. I'd happily stay here again.

Minor issues, communal areas of the hotel felt cold and there was a "drains-like" smell in some areas. We could hear people talking quite audibly from 5am, not sure if this is down to poor soundproofing between bedrooms or if we were staying in a room over a staffed area like the kitchen.

Responsive customer care and service

Good location, comfortable rooms, though we had some difficulties with the room allocation, which took a while to sort out. We had booked because of the pool (as a treat for the children as we travelled between family) but sadly it had closed earlier that day (until 16th January). We had called the hotel several times during the day of our arrival to enquire about pool opening times for children, but couldn't get through. We did get an email response an hour before arrival confirming pool opening times, so we were shocked to find the pool closed. I raised both these issues with the hotel and have been pleased with the professional, courteous and positive response from Front Office Manager, Brendan D'Souza. Our concerns were taken seriously - a very good example of responsive customer care and service.

The Quietest Choice.

Really quiet and superb hotel accommodation outside Oxford city centre. Really good breakfast buffet with a high-recommended quality-price rate! Bus connections are great!

No negative or disadvantage in these premises. Really quiet atmosphere, perfect for families and really close by bus to the city centre. Definitely, we'll repeat our stay there!

The whole hotel was in disarray. Apparently the system was down making check-in process extremely frustrating and slow. Had to change rooms as first room was like a fridge as hearing not working. Bar service was very slow, they even ran out of mixers (lemonade) at 8pm!!! Won't be returning!!!

🤩The hotel was clean, smells good all over the hotel, staff is very helpful and smiling. We liked the little welcome gift in the room, you have coffee pods, tea, biscuits. Coffee machine and kettle available in the room, as well an iron and a hairdryer. Pool has warm water and clean, you have a gym available, two restaurants. Will definitely come back and recommend Leonardo Royal Hotel.

It’s clean staff pleasant but it needs more attention than to detail in other areas.

The room was large and spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. The complimentary water was very welcome. The shampoo, shower gel and wash items were very good.

The food in the bar was good but it’s disappointing that there are very little vegetarian options. One part of our order was forgotten and had to be reordered. Finally, a bottle of wine had some unpleasant looking grouts in the bottom of the bottom. We were given a discount from our final bill.

An excellent base for what was a wonderful stay in Oxford.

A warm welcome at reception with a room upgrade added in. The location was easy to reach with a regular and very reliable bus service into the city centre just a few minutes away. 15 minutes into the centre; we couldn't have been happier

The hotel is spacious, smells good, and is a good location. The breakfast was good, staff very friendly

The Marco Pierre White restaurant didn't have the food we wanted. The starters weren't great, the Calamari was rubbery, definitely a frozen product ( not what you'd expect from a MPW name). My fillet steak was nice, but incredibly small, I know fillet steak isn't a huge cut, but for £35 , was quite tiny. The bill was expensive for what it was, 2 courses and no alcohol, £120. The room was nice. Clean. But the mattress on the bed was so light it kept sliding away from the wall and we had to keep shoving it back.

We were at the Executive room - very spacious, spotless clean, comfy beds , soft pillows, bathroom very clean. Breakfast was very good. Bus stop just opposite to the hotel.. take bus no. 6 will bring you to Oxford city center 10 - 12 mins travel
