A good pied-à- Terre for visiting Oxford

Well positioned on bus routes, ample parking, good facilities, I valued the living area. Check in and out was easy.

Nice if you can get in..!

Very comfortable bed, nice shower, windows that one could open, pleasant toiletries.

Outside entry security unit with unlit numerals so impossible to read after dark, even with phone torch. Locked out until another guest arrived by chance; my attempts at code set off alarm twice but nobody came to the door. One set of keys meant a couple had to arrive and depart together to get through four stages of secure locks, two with codes and two with keys. Protective but very annoying. Rather impersonal never seeing the owners. Advise to bin the cheap plastic flowerpots by the bed, and put out a few more small milk pods if advertising tea/coffee facilities, as only enough for one drink each.

The flat was clean

The indoors bell to call staff should work; The front door combination lock often didn't work; There should be a bell outside the front door to call staff; The staff should speak English; There should be more coat hooks; The bathroom and shower should have shelves; The bathroom sink plug should have a chain; The cushions waste valuable space; The tall fan should be a short fan on top of a cupboard; The suitcase rack should be replaced by a chest of drawers.
