Location ok. Shower with enough water and hot.
The property isn’t in very good condition. I could listen every step of others guests.
8.0 / 10.0
It's consistent and relatively cheap, it's got everything you need for a work trip.
It could be less basic

The location was convenient for the city centre and close to local shops and pubs.
We arrived at 3.35pm, but the host hadn't given us the room number or key code as promised prior to arrival. The host was called and asked for the information, but this wasn't actually provided until 30 minutes after we had arrived at the property. The room (Room 2) was extremely basic, but seemed clean, especially the en suite. However, there was no catch on the bathroom door, the coffee facilities were on a table with no adjacent power point, so the kettle needed moving across the room and stood on the carpet in order to plug it in and a huge crack had been filled in across one wall, but no attempt had been made to hide the repair with any form of decoration. We paid £78 for this room and feel that £50 would have represented far better value for money, but the host needs to be far more efficient at sharing the room number and key code, as waiting over 30 minutes outside the property is not acceptable.

The location and it was clean
I booked a en-suite room and didn’t get an en-suite room. When I used the provided mobile number to ask to change my room, I didn’t get any reply via text nor via WhatsApp.
I had also reached out to property before my stay to ask whether I could check in earlier than 3pm. I only received an automatic reply which didn’t address my question.

Nice location, good price, helpful host . Mo downstairs was lovely and helpful.
Shower broken. Hot water intermittent. Bedroom window didn't shut. Light stains on sheets and carpets (felt a bit unclean), very noisy from other rooms

Near the city centre
Room very small, bathroom not en-suite. Didn’t like having to leave the room to go to the bathroom during the night

Great location in the heart of Oxford. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Good value for money.
The window was open when we arrived and it was really difficult to close. It was very stiff and there was a strom outside. Luckily my husband is quite strong and managed to close it. I would suggest to look into this for future guests.

The location was good.
Price was good.
Had to call and text twice to get the access code after the agreed check in time. Calls were not answered and I had emailed about parking which had no response earlier in the week. Washing machine out of order I had bought a load. Some rubbish in the room when I arrived so I don’t know if it was even cleaned before.

Convenient location for central Oxford.
9.0 / 10.0
Centrally located comfortable and clean room. Simple to use key safe entry system, with code provided in time and correctly by owner. Facilities as expected with good Wi-Fi, which enabledabsence of TV in the offer to be replaced by viewing on a good lap-top.
Everything was OK, as advertised and as expected.

Falsely advertised as having an en-suite but the bathroom is not en-suite, it is a separate room down the corridor having to pass other guests in your towel.
No en-suite provided.

Quiet and good location
Value for money
Tea and coffee
Comfortable bed
Our room had separate private bathroom, not ensuite, but the others may be different

it’s location is good.

The location is excellent and very convenient for exploring the city. The bed linen was clean, and the shared kitchen with a fridge and microwave was very practical.
The hotel was quite hard to find, and at night it took me a while to figure out where the entrance was. The staircase is very narrow, and carrying a 25-kg suitcase up to the second floor was difficult. The room was very small and not cozy, with only two hangers and no real space for clothes. In the bathroom there was also no place to put toiletries.

Please fix a soap dispenser in shower and provide something to dry feet when stepping out of the shower as it gets wet/slippery.

Cool location in Jericho.
No clear sign at the property.
7.0 / 10.0
The location was great for where I wanted to be. Jericho is lovely and a bit removed from the most touristy areas. The room was fine and had everything I need, including a kettle. My favourite thing was the bed which was very comfortable. Useful with access to fridge in the kitchen.
The kitchen I had access to was not very clean and I had to wash up dishes before using them.

Location
Room too small, two set of stairs.
6.0 / 10.0
The location (Jericho area) is both nice and near the center.
The shop below (Mo) is super helpful
Very basic room.
The room was not ready at 3pm.
I had to open the front door at 10.30pm to another resident because of an indoor locking chain!
8.0 / 10.0
it was very central, one of the cheaper accommodations in oxford. self check in was very easy, room had a fan which was much needed
it seemed like there was leftover toiletries- random bits dotted around the room but obviously didn’t affect our stay, just seemed like perhaps the cupboards weren’t cleared previously to our stay. church bells started from 7am onwards on the sunday which affected our sleep but not related to the accommodation.
7.0 / 10.0
Good location. Easy to find and enter
Could only use three of the four plug sockets
8.0 / 10.0
Good location - easy walk to the city centre
Front door lock needs attention - it jams and it isn’t easy to open. Steep stairs with limited hand holds not easy if overburdened with luggage.
8.0 / 10.0
All was very clean. The place is quiet
No little device to put the luggage on, in the bedroom.
Toilet brush was broken.
Shower gel was on the shower floor.
These are small details as I enjoyed the place

An excellent location with wonderful food minutes walk and away from the throngs of tourists.
There was nowhere to store clothing. My room was changed from an ensuite to a private access shower room with a discount for inconvenience.
6.0 / 10.0
Good bed, clean
No socket by kettle, only tea not even instant coffee. Only 1 set of towels.

Localisation
Water dripping in toilet all the time keeping me awake, lock that worked poorly, water left in glass suggesting no washing up, grey towels & navy blue pillows suggesting poor cleaning, no wardrobe, no chair, no any furniture - only a bed and no place to put your belongings, no hairdryer (in this climate!!), some old tea bags looking dusty, no coffee - it was poor for this price - in London for less I got better room and decent breakfast
8.0 / 10.0
Room is basic but perfect for my needs. Location is also excellent for those who need to stay around Oxford University Press.
Decoration can be improved, a crack on the wall has been fixed with filler but not repainted. A towel to exit the shower would be appreciated, as well as a room hair dryer (there's one in the shared kitchen, but I guess it could be unavailable if another room is using it). The mattress could be softer, I placed the throw under the mattress cover to make it more comfy. But these are all minor issues, I'll be back.

Location
The description was misleading. You needed to read the fine print about stairs. We were put on the top floor which required 3 flights of narrow stairs.
The kitchen and laundry facilities are a share arrangement. This was not described well.
Although our booking was for 2, we only received 1 towel. I phoned and requested another which was promised but never arrived. Text messages not responded to.
When I made the booking, this place had a rating of over 8. I notice it is now 6.9. A more appropriate rating.

Location is excellent in the vibrant Jericho neighbourhood and Sabrina's coms were great.
The advert is misleading. It is not an ensuite double room, it is a room with access to a private bathroom down the corridor. The room itself has no storage facilities at all. There are no views whatsoever. The kitchen is shared with other rooms and there is no storage space for food other than the fridge.
If the description of the room had been accurate my expectations would have been completely different.

Excellent location, at a low price. Quiet small room, ok for a short stay.
I found many hair in the bed sheet. And in general, it's really basic, there's not even a desk; the hand soap was finished, and the shower leaks to the floor.

Location was great, bed was comfortable and was able to easily check ourselves in or out without any extra hassle
Everything was good enough for my one nights stay

Location
No host on site but initially contacted by phone. Issues: no heat in the room as radiator turned off in building and only a thin worn duvet with bottom sheet on bed. Wore clothes to bed. Very small room needing redecorating completed before listing. Bathroom was modernized but rented before complete. ( Caulking not completed. )Not very clean. Toilet seat broken and unsafe. Perhaps the host was renting her room for the busy weekend before start of term?

The property is well located in a quiet neighbourhood with a Co-op nearby and several places to eat. The kitchen looked very good but I did not use it. The shower room was tiny but adequate. Good value in an expensive city.
The room room lacked even the basics for an overnight stay. There was no storage for clothes - only two small hooks on the back of the door. No shelves or desk or decent chair. The painting and general finish were poor and the cleaning was only just good enough.

poor communication from the host, Sabrina - we messaged to ask if it was possible for an early check in or somewhere to leave our luggage but didn’t get a reply till my partner called. she said she’ll check with the cleaner but the room should be ready by 130/2pm. we checked the safe box at 2:30pm and again at 3pm and they key wasn’t there. we tried calling and messaging Sabrina but couldn’t get through to her. after waiting outside for a while a man from a nearby shop came to ask if we had booked a room as he had a spare key. our immediate reaction was relief, but on hindsight we both felt weird about it as it wasn’t clear why this man had a key to our room. if i was solo traveling i definitely wouldn’t have felt safe. there was also only one towel provided when we booked for two, and there were instructions on the door to clear the bin before checkout but there wasn’t a bin liner so we didn’t bother. positives are that it was conveniently located, wifi was good and was reasonably priced. but i probably won’t be re-booking this place when I’m back in Oxford again.

The instructions to get in were clear and it was easy to find.
The bedsheets, had been washed, but had a bum print on them (I guess from a previous guest who used body oil?)
The windows were really grubby, and there was no hair dryer, which was annoying as I was presenting at a conference.

Location...
There is no one to assist. Felt like I am in a deserted house. The WiFi password given cannot work. Except for the first day there is no heating from the second day onwards. However it is not critical as temperate was rising. The premise is clean and comfortable. Look like it has been renovated and upgraded recently. There is still room for improvement. I left a day earlier.
