Ensuite Double Room in City Of Oxford

No breakfast. Quiet. Fairly nice view. Very convenient for Jericho and OUP. Great pubs, cafes, restaurants, and mini-supermarkets nearby. A short walk from the river and canal. Pretty good value for money.

I was at the top, up three or four flights of winding stairs, with no lift — hard to lug my bags upstairs. I found a sliver of glass on the carpet, which I nearly trod on with my bare feet. Luckily I didn’t, or there might have been blood all over the floor. I suspect the previous occupant broke a wine glass. The carpet should have been hoovered more thoroughly. I wanted a proper reading light for the desk/table. The powerful shower was good, but risked blowing the shower curtain back and flooding the bathroom floor. The window is very stiff and hard to open/shut properly. It needs fixing.

The room was well appointed and clean, unlike the entrance and stairs.

Absence of communication from host Sabrina about access, the key box or the code. No response to messages.

Location is fantastic and price was very reasonable

Bedroom needs to be hoovered.

Very good location. One of the most cheap rooms in the city with a privat bathroom. Very basic room, but ok for that price. Bathroom was clean. Although the white walls are far from being white anymore, and therefor it gets a less ‘clean look’, although the room was clean!

When I arrived It seemed I received the wrong code for the keybox. I got helped via whatsapp immedeatly. Then they keybox was empty, but a concierge was there also immedeatly. Clearly a room furnished as cheap as possible for rent to visitors, but thats ok for that pice. Even the lampshade was hanged up still in its plastic, with the price still on it. Even for a cheap room, there are limits about quickly furnishing a room… No Tv, but there was free wifi, while on booking it was mentionned there is no wifi! Can also be quit noisy as other doors are closed very loud.
