Excellent location with good connection to the city and nice nearby shops. Breakfast was very basic but plentiful. The room and interiors had a very rustic feel. The staff was friendly and approachable. Good value for what we paid.
Room was dated. There was rust on the radiator and tiles falling off in the bathroom. Bed was uncomfortable and the sheets could have been cleaner. Noisy fridge buzzed all night.

The manager Mark was delightful and helpful with a minor change I requested. communication was good with the venue was good. Breakfast was excellent - not a full English but lots of fruit, boiled eggs & toast. Room was generally clean
This is an very old fashioned B&B which is now very down at heel. Cloth headboard that looked grubby, somewhat uncomfortable beds, crack in shower door. old and faded decor. On main road which to be fair I expected.
