Lovely spot, staff were friendly and really helpful and the homemade food was 10/10 would definitely recommend the chicken pasta. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfy with smart TV too. 20ish minute walk into Windermere.
Unfortunately, the price on arrival had been increased by £21 due to Easter Holidays without any prior warning

Great food. Excellent location. Very helpful staff. Very authentic country pub. Excellent ale choices.
Shower had great pressure but had to use the shower head as hand held because it was otherwise horizontal flow. This didn’t really worry us but might be an issue for others. No shampoo, moisturiser instead but again not a big deal. We would happily return.
