The property is in an excellent location for both Coniston and Windermere, Emma and Mark were excellent hosts who made us feel very welcome. The Old School House has lots of character and a very cosy atmosphere. Breakfast here is a must, the food is delicious.
We will certainly be staying here again and will be recommending the Old School House to friends and family.

Perfect location. Amazing breakfasts - many options to choose from, great quality food and perfectly cooked. Good bedding, the rooms were very nicely furnished and clean. Clean bathroom.
We were in the Wordsworth Suite and having the lounge area was such a luxury!
Nothing really! One constructive comment I would make is that the door to the bathroom was noisy to close so no secret visits to the loo in the night!!

The property was characteristically an old school house with character. The lounge was spacious with comfortable chairs. The property was very clean. The host is charming
We were at the top of the property so we didn’t get any hot water. The beds were two small singles and uncomfortable to us. Great parking facilities
