Very pleasant and helpful staff. Good cooked breakfasts. Varied menu for evening meals although some people may find dogs in restaurant offputting. We did not and were very happy overall. Would stay there again.
Bedroom could be better as nowhere for clothes, although they did provide a temporary affair.

breakfast lunch and evening meal were exeptional, the location is beautiful and peaceful,and the room was to a very high standard of comfort and cleanliness. all staff were very freindly and helpful
no improvements needed, only thing we didnt like, was having to leave ,wish we had booked longer stay

The food at dinner was surprisingly good even though they fitted us in at short notice. There seemed quite a few diners for an out-of-the-way place so it must have a good reputation. Breakfast was even better, delicious, really well presented and friendly service. Was included too so made our stay good value for money.
It was a very nice, scenic and quiet location close to a National Trust waterfall.
The room seemed a little tired, with a low entrance to the bathroom. Had a warning sign but was still awkward.
Nonetheless had a peaceful nights sleep.
