Excellent location, parking good, host friendly and welcoming
Bed was very soft. Breakfast was either vegetarian or continental, continental was basic, no fruit juice. Communal kitchen did not suit us, we prefer being able to make a drink in room. Only 1 set of towels for a 2 night stay. No staff on desk at check out

Good location. Nice garden.
There was only a basic continental breakfast. If you want an omlete that is £6 extra. I was only provided with a hand towel, no sign of a bath towel. The room was rather basic and uninspiring.Wallpaper in the bedroom had been carelessly patched up. This was at ground level, perhaps there is a problem with damp.

A very characterful property that was clean and well kept. A great place to explore the Lakes with Derwent Water and Ullswater nearby and Keswick 5 minutes away. The best thing about the property is the staff. Nothing was too much trouble for Suruchi. Will definitely be going back.
