The hotel is set in a pretty location. The building is quite impressive. Our room was spacious. Breakfast is set in a pretty dining room.
The facility is a bit dated overall, but it’s part of the charm. For the price point, the food could have been better. Also, the staff, except a few people, didn’t seem to be particularly friendly.

Limited food menu and overpriced especially bar menu as quality of food average.

Perfect service from the excellent staff. How I would sum it up is good old fashioned service, courtesy beyond expectations. Always asking if we needed help.
£6 supplements is a bit steep for poached eggs and avocado, eggs Benedict or scrambled egg and smoked salmon.
We have been to other places where they charge less.
