The bed was comfy and very large, I had an excellent nights sleep before our trip up the mountains. The breakfast was very nice, we went for the scrambled eggs and tomatoes. Mike was friendly and accommodating, he even offered some advice on routes up Helvellyn.
A little confusing as to which door as it is right next to the alpine club but that’s probably down to me.

The location was excellent and the breakfast was delicious.
The grouting in the shower needs attention.

Nice proprietor and friend and a very nice breakfast.
Before I begin i just want to say that Mike was very nice guy who was very eager to please and get it right. New to the B&B market.
Our bed was high off the floor and had to step on a little stool to get up and down off the bed plus carvings on the bed corners so you had to watch your head.as well.Not a great combination for older people...... Bed was beautiful.
It was a cold wet and stormy day (Amy) when we arrived. House was COLD from the moment we walked in until we left the next day..We had a woodstove in our sitting area but the wood was damp.so it wouldn't light.
Shower was very tiny so luckily we aren't large people.
