The accommodation was in a very remote pub which was comfortable and included an excellent cooked breakfast

The third bed was OK but in the common area. There was no separate living area and bathroom was very tight

A true lakes experience, just like it should be! Stunning setting that has a playground on offer for bikers, hikers and furry friends Good decent food, cosy bar area, lovely garden and welcoming staff, that go above and beyond to make your stay. The room as spacious and comfortable, I only stayed one night, I could easily have enjoyed more. Free WiFi was great and even managed a phone signal in the garden flat. I was a little reticent in letting everyone know how wonderful this little hidden valley with its perfect little pub was, its nice that it’s still got true Lakeland charm, without becoming overly “touristy” But it feels like we need to do everything we can to keep these little nuggets of scrumminess going

Location was stunning

The double bed needs to have a topper on it as we found it too soft. The wi fi was very bad but to be expected as it is in the middle of a national park
