Such a gorgeous, cosy place. The environment felt safe and warm. Loved the attention to detail with the way you submit what you want for breakfast, ordering sandwiches, little sheep for sale. Felt very organic, lovely not to rely on screens to order things. George is absolutely lovely, super friendly and helpful, offering many tips about climbing Scafell Pike.
The only thing I didn’t like was that there was no lamp in the room. The rooms could be cozier, like the rest of the property. I couldn’t read before bed without having the big light on.

Such an amazing location, and a fantastic host. Georgina was so welcoming and helped give us directions for the different walks we wanted to complete. Clean beds and a hot shower were lovely to come back to and everyday was started with a delicious breakfast. We definitely will be back and look forward to our next stay.

Georgina gave my pup Falcor and I the most warm welcome! Loved the stay here- it felt like home away from home and everything I needed was already taken care of before I knew I needed it. I got a packed lunch for the hike the next day- this and the breakfast were really great. The location is off the charts amazing and I loved everything about the stay here. Can’t wait to go back one day, and will stay for longer next time.
