Breakfast was nice and staff very tentative.
Service for dinner was also very good.
Reception and bar staff friendly, helpful and pleasant. Decor generally very good, and clean in communal areas, bar, restaurant etc.
Gardens of the hotel were very nice and very well tended too.
Powerful shower and comfortable bed.
The bathroom was dirty, with black mould on the shower head, had not been cleaned in months.
Ceiling roses of the main light fixtures not secured with exposed wiring. Wardrobe upper cupboard hinge broken. 6 foot piece of architrave missing from around wardrobe frame. Privacy compromised in bathroom, no blind on window.
Tipping hazard at the hotel main entrance door, rubber threshold displaced from door trim.
