We loved the location; stunning views from all windows. Really spacious family suite (2 bedrooms & bathroom). Comfy super kingsize bed & twin beds. Huge shared kitchen, well equipped with all crockery, glassware, cooking equipment. Lovely grounds: mature trees and pretty river running along the end of the garden.
It needs a bit of redecoration/updating but that didn’t detract from our stay. We had a lovely time.

The character, the views, the location, the trust factor - (as it wasn’t actually manned).
It was a bit tired & run down in places such as the upstairs.
