Good stopover on coast to coast walk. Staff very friendly and helped with guiding on how shower operated. Nice refresh in accommodation but tight for space which is what charming old pubs can be. Great atmosphere in bar downstairs.
Breakfast was a bit limited. But tasty.

Excellent friendly staff. Good service and nice food
Electric showers kept going hot and cold during use. Whilst the pub was a nice place to stay, the price was rather high compared with other accommodation in the Lake District

Staff friendly and super helpful regarding the local area. Evening meal was great with a good atmosphere. Location perfect for Coast to Coast walkers.
Room tiny and we felt is was over priced compared to others we’ve stayed at along the route.
