Friendly staff, beautiful grounds and excellent food
The room temperature was very high and the number of stairs to get to room 20. Fan was all but useless

The room was very comfortable. An excellent shower and the room was on the level as I walk with a stick which makes stairs difficult so I appreciated that consideration.

Lovely breakfast, location overlooking the lake and friendly staff
It was very hot (unusual I know, for Lake District) and the property had no air conditioning. While older buildings of this character usually do not, it may be something we have to see if the impact of global warming continues here in the UK.
