Central location close to public transport (Ullswater steamers and buses around the lake). The room was cosy and clean and the interior design was lovely in the room and the bar/pub. The size of the room was large, suitable for having our dogs' crate in there. Very nice breakfast and I ordered a vegan full English included in the B&B price. Great value for money, would stay in this chain of Inns again.
No clear signs to show how to check in/out and no non-dairy milk sachets in the rooms meant we couldn't utilise t he teas/coffees. We were lucky to get the last parking spot but otherwise, we wouldn't have to pay for parking the whole duration of our stay as there isn't enough parking spots as hotel rooms.

Confusing about Room Cleaning service.
Only had one knock on the door to replenish Drinks stuff.
We was There 3 days.
Nobody came to .are the Bed or do The Bathroom.

Lovely location on the lake. We had a nice room.
Rooms weren’t ready when they said they would be. Husband was trying to do work calls and went up at the allocated time. Door was open so he went in. Male housekeeper was very rude and argumentative saying the room wasn’t ready and made him leave. Bar manager apologised and dealt with the issue very fairly. I walked my auntie from our room to hers but because it was a different floor and I hadn’t taken my key I got locked out of my corridor and there was no way to get hold of staff. Luckily my husband came looking for me. Food was nice and our room was nice but we wouldn’t return.
