Ambleside Townhouse is within perfect walking distance of the main town, close to a lovely string of pubs and restaurants.
It also offers dog friendly rooms and a delicious cooked breakfast each morning. Unfortunately dogs are not allowed in the breakfast room, however the staff were more than happy to accommodate us eating on our terrace so that we didn’t have to leave our dog.

Ideally placed for access around Ambleside. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast had a good selection and was delicious.

It was very conveniently located, close to town centre, bus stops, cafes & restaurants. Clean, comfortable and cosy rooms (9/10), with lovely breakfast (10/10)
My room (no. 24)was facing the street, which had a good vehicle traffic all through the day, and people noisily walking past. The windows aren't soundproof and was a nuisance.
