The Ambleside Townhouse is conveniently located only a minute's walk from the Ambleside Bus Interchange and a 3-4 minute walk from the town centre. The breakfast is wonderful - not to be missed
The 'suite' booked by me turned out to be a regular room with a passage outside the room where staff lockers(?) were located. That passage could obviously not be treated as being part of the guest room. This was not just disappointing but gave me the feeling of being misled. The wifi was unavailable in the room

It was very conveniently located, close to town centre, bus stops, cafes & restaurants. Clean, comfortable and cosy rooms (9/10), with lovely breakfast (10/10)
My room (no. 24)was facing the street, which had a good vehicle traffic all through the day, and people noisily walking past. The windows aren't soundproof and was a nuisance.
