Weather lol3rd time this year, hubby & I & dogs have stayed there Brill 👍

Comfy bed, dog bowl and treats left for our dog. Location was perfect.

My own fault but I didn't read the emails about breakfast bags, we thought it would be a sit down breakfast, but should have checked the email properly. Best bit about a BnB is the sit down breakfast so that was disappointing. Also we had a room on the ground floor at the front so it was quite noisy with the road in the morning. Parking not included. Bathroom was tiny!

The staff were welcoming , the room was lovely and warm. The bedding smelt fresh and clean. The breakfast was delicious and we liked that this was delivered to our room

Size, decor and set up of room, heating was great. Comfortable, clean beds. Kindly let us check in earlier.

Smell of room but cleaning staff sprayed it very quickly when asked. Unfortunately one of the bath towels was badly marked so didn’t use it. Staff were very apologetic and explained they get sent away to be cleaned. Parking was a bit of an issue but it does state no parking when you book.

It was very central to the river and town

The room was at the front on a main road and the traffic was a little heavy during the day and could be heard first thing.

A wonderful overnight stay. A great location for wandering into town with lots of lovely pubs, restaurants and shops on the doorstep. Comfortable, cosy and exceptionally clean room with beautiful views of Ambleside and the Fells. Really enjoyed breakfast delivered to the room the following morning which set us up for our day! Loved our stay and can't wait to return.

Hotel on good street in Ambleside, an easy walk to shops and restaurants. Room nicely decorated. Good size TV.

The property markets itself as "Luxury Accommodation" but for the price, our experience was anything but luxury: - we had terrible nights as the room was extremely hot (much warmer than it was outside). It wasn't even that hot outside but the room was unbearable, and the windows only open very little. They offer a fan in the room but this was such poor quality it practically useless. No air-conditioning system. I dread to imagine what it would be like if it were a little warmer. - the bathroom was very small basic: shower gel provided but no shampoo, plastic cups (!!) on the sink, no shelf or surface to put toiletries, - no mini-fridge - tea and coffee options in the room very basic

They owned both properties each side of the b&b also b&b places.. both included parking which ours didn’t, but we asked to park in empty spaces and pay but was not allowed

We loved staying at the Ambleside Fell Rooms! It is a very short (3-5 min) walk from the bus station, so it makes it easy if you have luggage. The attention to detail and cleanliness of rooms were highlights for me. I loved that there was a little sitting area by the window. We came during a rare heat wave the past few days in July, but were able to keep the windows open and it worked out fine! It's just something to keep in mind- probably mostly for Americans who live with AC 24/7- if you come in the summer months, as it got up to 82 one of the days we stay. For us it was cool enough at nights (60s F) that we still slept well. We had the curtains closed during the daytime to keep more of the heat out so we stayed comfortable the whole time. After the first night, I asked the front desk if they had sheets or a light blanket instead of the comforter we had on the bed. At first she said she didn't think they had it, but when we came back from Windermere they had put sheets on and I was so happy. I really loved this hotel and would 100% stay here again if I was ever back in the area- especially in the cooler months!

We wished that it had AC since we came during a rare heat wave, and that's what we're used to in the U.S. but we understood why it didn't. It was perfect otherwise!
