Location within Hawkeshead, very clean bedroom & bathroom
Staff very friendly
I didn’t appreciate it was the locals pub so slightly intimidating when I arrived but it was bank holiday weekend so it was always going to be busier.

Fantastic place to stay, location is brilliant for hiking areas and is a lovely little village. The staff were very helpful and accommodating throughout. Great room with comfortable bed and clean facilities. The pub/restaurant is a great atmosphere too and we had an amazing Sunday roast dinner. Highly recommend staying here and will definitely return when hiking in the Lakes again :)
