Gorgeous location overlooking the river in Kendal. The room was lovely and breakfast was great. One of the absolute standouts for this hotel is the staff. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, particularly the lovely lady on the reception. Would highly recommend this hotel and we have already booked a return visit.

we picked this hotel as it was close to the areas we were visiting , although the staff were pleasant and the hotel clean it was very tired , our room 209 when i used the bathroom the first time the outside of the door handle came off in my hand , the water pressure in the bathroom was non existent and there was never any hot water unless you got up very early but that didn’t help the pressure , i think if you wished to have a bath it would of been impossible to do , the shower control kept turning back to bath setting my guess again due to water pressure all the fitments on the bathroom cabinets were all chipped and pieces missing and off the door , unfortunately we can’t recommend
