I chose this location because I was on a long journey & it was a hot day, so I wanted air conditioning. It was great to find the whole building was air conditioned rather than just the room.
The view out over the like was lovely- only wish I had more time to appreciate it.
I would expect in this day & age that there would be at least plug sockets by the bed, ideally with USB sockets. Unfortunately, the only 3 pin were on the far wall & there were no USB.

It is a shame the room was not as clean as expected. The venue and location could have better prospects if the cleanliness was better
The staff on arrival was lovely and welcoming but the morning staff accepted room card and shutters were closed with 3 sitting chatting and didn’t ask about stay.
The room carpet and bathroom was dirty. Old flies on back of sink and floor. Toe nail clippings on floor- just made us feel the room was unclean despite the views from window being amazing
Bed has seen better days and mattress needs changing

Lovely views, at a service station, so if needed anything it was there. Beds v comfy, used shower was great, wash stuff in the room to use. Free parking. And can buy food vouchers to use at mc Donald's or Costa... £10 for £7.50. Bonus.

Always friendly staff. Good location for the Lake District, Preston, Chorley, Lancaster, etc. Beautiful views of Killington Lake.
No lift. My room was downstairs and I have arthritis and heart failure. This made it difficult for me to come and go. No air conditioning so it gets humid quickly. Bath/shower is difficult to use for someone with arthritis. There were no handles to help me get in or out or to steady myself.
