I stayed in a Large Single Room. It was the perfect size for me with my hiking gear. Plenty of space for everything. The whole building was very looked after. The breakfast was very nice with a lot of choice/flexibility. The owners could not have been more friendly, and furnished me with a lot of information about Kendal itself and the bus services. The B&B is very close to the centre of town. But it was very quiet, so perfect in that respect. All in all, a lovely place to stay, and I will be staying there again (I have booked already!)
As described on the web site, the B&B is not suitable for children or pets and those with limited mobility. It is up a shortish but very steep hill, and then there a number of steps to negotiate, and the rooms are also upstairs. The access was not a problem for me or the vast majority of people, but others might find that difficult.

The friendliness of the hosts. More than happy to help facilitate a relaxed stay. Property whilst up a hill is perfectly placed to the centre of Kendal with great pubs nearby and several bus stops nearby without needing to walk to the bus station
