Spacious Flat with Parking in the Heart of York

The location was good but the accommodation was unclean and really bad communication from the company the apartment is owned by.

We travelled for our stay in York with our two young sons we arrived to dirty carpets, an awful smell in the entrance hall and eu-suite bathroom, filthy oven, cutlery and unclean bedding. The apartment really let out trip down and we tried to communicate with the owners several times sending photos etc but only got one reply after that we were comply ghosted by them!

Location

Sadly no hot water for first 24 hours and rather disjointed way of contacting people - seemed to be numerous different people replying.. but tbf it was a weekend and sorted for our last night but direct communication to a person rather than numerous forms/texts would have been preferable. Parking space with gated access but very tight and large defender had parked in a non-designated space making access quite challenging - no idea which flat it belonged to so likely beyond your control but fyi!

Great location, not far from city centre.

The location is very convenient

There was no hot water and heater and we were made to wait 3/4 of the day for the gas engineer to fix it. In fact it was not fixed till 7pm at night. We had to wait around and couldn’t make use of the day to explore York
