Spacious Flat with Parking in the Heart of York

Size of rooms, comfortable beds, good location and parking.

Extractor fan was not working and slight odour from the bathrooms.

Great location, easy walk from the flat into the older part of the city near the York Minster. The space was clean, modern and very comfortable. There was parking for a single car at the property and we parked the second car at the outdoor car park a few minuets walk from the flat towards town. The property management company were very good, they contacted us to check on our arrival and were for any questions we had, they responded quickly.

Only downside was we stayed during some very hot days and airflow in the flat wasn’t great, it could do with a couple of standing or tower fans for summer months.

This apartment was perfect. Spacious. One of the bedrooms had a lovely ensuite. Nice big rooms. Lovely and clean, good for the centre of York about a 10 minute walk which was perfect. A parking space as well so we didn't need to use the car everything was in walking distance. The car safe behind electronic gates. The building was clean aswell. I would book this apartment again. Everything you would need was supplied the only thing we had to bring were our clothes and us ! The communication was very good aswell, Martyn was very helpful and answered our messages quickly. Excellent directions on how to access the keys and building, we could not fault our stay.

Gute Lage (Innenstadt fußläufig erreichbar), ruhige Umgebung, ausreichend Platz, insbesondere großer Wohn-/Kochbereich, günstiger Preis, gute Kommunikation zum Selbst-Einchecken.

Das Gebäude ist (laut Aufzug-Datenschild) 9 Jahre alt und seitdem wurde leider offensichtlich sehr wenig in die Instandhaltung investiert. Beginnend mit einem unsicheren (Bart-)Türschloss sind die Wände in Haus und Wohnung teilweise beschädigt und schmutzig, einige Möbel angeschlagen und das Doppelbett durchgelegen. Leider gibt es auch Sauberkeits-Probleme wie verschmutze Kühlschrank-Bretter, fleckige Esstisch-Stühle und eine schmutzige Ofen-Tür, verkalkte bzw. verschmutzte Duschkabinen-Schienen und Kippfenster voller Vogeldreck. Außerdem ist der Parkplatz für ein Familienauto sehr eng.
