York ice trail qeekend

Lovely area close to centre but quiet at night so peaceful. Clean and tidy and good check in instructions.

There were not enough cooking utensils ie oven trays/pizza trays for cooking. Going with a family of 4 it would of been better to have them as with young kids its nice to cater for them at home. The fire doors were also very heavy to open, which i understand the need for them however was a bit hard work with a young child

A great find highly recommend

What a gem .. couldn’t fault this property . Travelled with family from various places in England to meet in York . This was ideal in every way for family and I’m sure friends too .

Pleasant and handy

It was very clean and had all the basics we needed for a couple of days

Although it was in a quiet area, people within the building weren’t quiet at all. The tv was miles away from the sofa meaning the remote didn’t reach it to use properly and the image wasn’t great.

Modern apartment with fully equipped kitchen

Very nice and modern refurbished old house. Fully equipped kitchen and ensuite bathrooms. Comfortable bed, but the large double could do with being attached together better as the two singles drifted apart. We didn't hear anyone in the other apartments but there might have been no one else staying.

The main floors were clean but it was very dusty under the sofas (not close to the floor so easy to get a hoover underneath) and behind the chair and bedside table that I had to move to fit the cot in The oven bottom heating element was broken so we couldn't really use the oven

The apartments were in a fantastic location, only a 10 minute walk from the city. They were clean, comfy and a good size. Communication was great, answered all my questions straight away.

It was cozy warm well maintained and designed. With great amenities. The only issue I had was the very late check in time which is really impactful if you are going for one night

Very Comfortable York Property

Great facilities, bedroom separate to kitchen in a very comfortable and spacious apartment. Great location, less than 20 minute walk from the train station, really good communication from staff and overall fantastic value for money.

Great location, clean, lovely decor and comfortable, good facilities. Good communication and clear instructions for check-in.

There is nothing to dislike; however, the only downside is that the rooms and bathrooms are rather small. This setup was ideal for a couple of nights, but if you plan to stay longer, it might become a bit challenging, especially if you have more luggage or similar needs.

Good apartment, good location.

A great location - close to the train station and the city centre. It was comfortable and finished to a decent standard. Decorated well.

The kitchen was not as expected. The mugs and glasses were dirty with marks on them. There was no chopping board or tray, the frying pan was scratched and not useable. There was still cheese inside the cheese grater. For the price we paid, we had expected a drop of oil, salt and pepper shakers, not little sachets from elsewhere and a couple more dishwasher tablets. A beautiful apartment but expensive considering the facilities.

Welsh ladies in York

Location only 10 mins from the Minister. Sainsbury 5 mins if wanting anything for the apartment. Apartment itself very clean and cosy.

Cosy little apartment :)

Nice cosy apartment with a comfortable bed. Nice and clean and the heating was great as it was freezing out!

Parking situation seems a bit of a faff and needlessly expensive. We were made aware of other expensive alternatives but managed to find free on street parking a 5 minute walk away. Shower pressure also wasn't the best.

There was milk in the fridge and tea and coffee with kit lays on arrival which was a lovely touch. The apartment was great and so handy with all amenities and only a 5 min walk to shop and take away if required

There was a musty smell in one of the en-suites and I feel the bedroom was cleaned with the door opened as when we closed it there was a lot of dust behind it

The location was fantastic and parking very convenient outside the property. We had a great day.

The apartment looked exactly how we expected and was very comfortable. Including temporary.

We couldn’t find any kitchen scissors and the oven smoked a lot. We were surprised it didn’t set the smoke detector off. We could not get the TV to work on digital so we had to use our Netflix app.

Lovely little apartment short walk from York city centre

Super easy to collect keys on arrival. The apartments are on a suburban street in a line of several other B&B's and holiday lots. 15-20min walk to the city which was perfect for us. The apartment itself was lovely. Lots of space for us (a family of 3) to spread out. With two ensuite shower rooms. Tea, Coffee and Milk was provided as well as delicious kitkats, which was a nice touch. Beds were comfortable and apartment clean. Enjoyed our stay here and will be back if we're visiting York again.

The doors in the apartment were very heavy so our little one struggled a bit. We just had to be careful with them but I presume these are fire doors for safety purposes so more just a warning if you have little ones. The door to the flat was a little bit rattley as well but the locked was working fine, might be nice to have the addition of a door chain or latch for extra security.

Really enjoyed our stay

My friend and I stayed overnight for a shopping trip. Easy access with keybox. The apartment was ideal with two bedrooms and two shower rooms. Clean, contemporary and comfortable living/dining/kitchen areas and comfortable beds. Very quiet on a nice residential street, approx 15- 20 minute walk from the Minster, which was slightly farther than we had thought, however there are buses from the top of the road or 10 mins by Uber. Would stay there again.

Wedding in York

The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. We were in York for a wedding which was in the Hospitium in the museum Gardens, within walking distance! We would definitely stay again.

Everything, we stayed for 4 nights, fantastic apartment, number 2, had Everything you could need, lovely and warm and comfortable, great location, about 10 minute's walk to the Minster, will definitely return.

Well appointed and tidy apartment

Check in was simple. Location was good - walking distance to Bootham Bar. Comfortable bed and well appointed separate lounge/dining. Very quiet street.

The shower cubicle and bathroom were a bit small and the water pressure was weak, but the water was hot. We copied the address from booking.com and put into our navigation app and it took us to the wrong location - search using the name rather than copying the address from the booking

Apartments as described, in a good location, 10mins from town. Well kitted out, plenty of room, good amenities. Already recommended it to others.

The option to park up earlier would have been very useful. As it was, we got fleeced in Marygate car park for a few hours 😀

Location is good and the flat is comfortable and generally clean (with some exceptions...)

- we found mould in the tea pot. The rest was fine - we could hear noise from the other apartment - all is remotely managed and some questions went unanswered - late check in and early check out - and you can't change it. so it's not a great deal tbh...
