Riverbank View Three Bedroom Apartment with Free Parking

Just 10 minutes to walk to the nearest gate in the city wall.

Really nice 3-bed ground floor apartment that could sleep up to 5. We had good communication from Peter, our host, who was very welcoming, gave us a thorough intro to the property and was happy to share local knowledge so we could make the most of our 4-night stay. Full sized kitchen with very generous provisions to start us off for our stay, and which had plenty of space to prepare meals and cook in. Lounge - dining room was a great size for a family to use. Located an easy 5 minute walk to Monkgate, it meant we didn't have to use our car to get into York itself, so could leave it safely in the off-road parking space in front of the building. Excellent place to stay in a fabulous city.

There is really nothing to dislike about this property. A minor downside was that it only had 1 bathroom and no separate loo - there were 4 of us staying so we just had to be well organised in the morning and remember to check if anyone else needed the loo before taking a bath or shower!

What a wonderful stay! The hosts are honestly the best we have ever met – so warm, welcoming, and thoughtful. The flat is beautifully maintained and has such a lovely family feel to it. Every little detail has been considered, and it has absolutely everything you could need for a comfortable stay. It felt like a home away from home. We only wish we had booked more nights! Thank you for such a fantastic stay – we would love to return.
