Stunning spacious property on the riverside with lovely views from the upper living space, kitchen and dining room. Very cool contemporary design with nice finishes, bathrooms and living areas.
Fully equipped modern kitchen and appliances. Well located with pleasant walk into town.
The heating was on very high so was hot when we arrived and at night time, not easy to turn off UF heating downstairs.
A few hairs found in the bedding. Bathrooms not the most conveniently located for a large group, with glass door to one en-suite.

Great location with a 10-15 walk to the city walls

Layout not great - main bedroom has on suite but other two bedrooms are away from the toilet which is not great at night
Little niggles - nowhere to hang towels in bathroom, not much toilet roll, empty hand soap in one of the bathrooms, bright light that automatically turns on when you get up in the night which would be ok but doors are glazed so flood the bedrooms with light

The house was very close to the old city of York.
The house was dirty when we arrived and appeared not to have been cleaned. The "mezzanine" bedroom was challenging for older adults.
