The property was very clean and welcoming with milk, 'Yorkshire' tea, coffee and sugar, which was great after our long journey! Plenty of clean towels, toilet rolls and toiletries were also supplied :) Easy to use central heating. Very handy small bakery and butcher at the end of the road ( 3 mins ) With local buses into York city centre just minutes away.
We used the 'hop on hop off' tour bus to explore the city over two days, well worth doing as very reliable, informative and very entertaining

Great Location a corner shop, pub, butchers and bakers all within a 3 minute walk and a Co-Op 10 minute walk.
The Racecourse is 5 minutes away as well.

Cracking property. Very comfortable and a great base to explore York from. Nice walk into the town and also really close to the racetrack to do York Parkrun Saturday Morning.
Parking right outside the door then didn’t use the car for the test of the stay which was nice.
Hosts had recommended the butchers and the bakery… if you stay here you MUST visit both! The pies are the best ever and we ended up having pies and veg rather than eating out on our last night (unanimous vote - 2 adults 2 teenagers!). We were gutted that we hadn’t thought ahead and bought more to bring back with us (closed on a Sunday). The sausages and bacon also made a great fry up in the morning with some eggs and bread from the bakery. The bakery also make the most amazing custard slices… but get there early so you don’t miss out!
Nice to have a proper dining table and chairs to sit for breakfast and meals. Comfy sofas x2 in the lounge. Great wifi and house was lovely and warm.

A beautiful quaint house in York, perfect for all of us! Easy to get an inner into city centre of a 30 minute walk in which we opted for. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!
