Lovely place

Liked the space. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 teenage kids.

Not a complaint just an observation. Lack of TV or radio in kitchen. Our kids slept in the living room so we used kitchen and just put music on our phones.

Great property in an excellent location.

Great location - with only a ten minute walk to the centre. Well organised off road car park. Pre arrival information was excellent. Dogs really welcome which was excellent. Spacious, clean and modern with TV’s in each room. Overall - great for us.

Our family of 6 loved every minute of our break away.

I loved how clean and spacious it was, the location was great as it only took us around 10-20 mins walk to everything we did. Apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed, rooms were all a good size. We were really impressed and would definitely stay again.

We dont have anything that we didnt like about the place.

Lovely modern, comfortable and cosy accommodation on the outskirts of York Centre

The beds were really comfortable and it felt like home with plenty of space for all 6 of us to sit infront of the tv and sit around the table, our dog Tobi also had a dog bed, bowl and treats which was a lovely touch! Very modern apartment with plenty of space and in a great location just outside the centre (25-30 min walk). The hosts were great and gave plenty of information for check out and were available during the day for any questions if needed which is great, would definitely return!

The facilities could be improved on as there were no wardrobes or drawers, just 4 hangers on hooks on the wall and 4 cubes for shoes so would prefer to have extra storage especially if your planning on staying for longer than a few nights. There also wasn’t enough toilet roll for 6 people and nowhere to put the hand towel in the en-suite toilet. We also paid for charging of our car on their car park but wasn’t informed beforehand that it’s a 3 pin plug charger which we didn’t have for our car so we paid extra for the charge that we didn’t end up using as this information wasn’t available beforehand. Check in is at 3pm but we wanted to come earlier to walk around however we weren’t able to park anywhere in York as it was busy and we would’ve parked and left the car, leaving our bags in the car and checking in at 3pm if that was an option so maybe suggest to future guests if that’s a possibility and it would be perfect!

Excellent sized apartment close to York centre

Excellent sized apartment within 15 minutes walk from York city centre. Separate kitchen, living room and 2 double bedrooms. Apartment had good facilities and was next to a pub and convenience shop

Perfect 2 nights in York with a dog, apartment was spacious, clean and a great location. Would come back.

Property was exactly like the photos, clean, tidy, great facilities and modern. Great location, Walk along the river to town. Had a dog bed / blanket / treats / bowl & Patio was great for the dog. Arrival instructions were simple. Spar opposite and pub next door.

Our room was facing the road was too loud at night if you’re a light sleeper.

Lovely!

Great location and lots of space!

We felt it could have done with some updating. One of the showers didn’t work and the bath was broken and there were lots of chipped paint etc. However apart from this it was lovely!

FREEZING COLD AND RUDE OWNERS

****AVOID THESE PROPERTIES AT ALL COST*** These properties are not fit for human habitation! The apartments are so cold they expect you to leave electric plug in heaters on whilst you leave the property - ALL AT YOUR OWN RISK! They have you book the property and then with that comes all sorts of added extra costs and policies that you have to sign! The owners are SO RUDE! They are not accommodating at all and basically once they have your money - don’t care! Please look at reviews that mention the boiler being so loud it kept us up all night not to mention the fact it clearly didn’t work or give off any heat! Maintenance person had to be called out who agreed that these properties are all on a locked system and it’s up to the property owners when they want the heating on and it’s at a timed basis! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS

Stressful start after a long journey that impacted how we felt about the property

The size compared to other accommodation

The fact that I didn’t receive information on how to get into the property and I made calls and left messages for over an hour before I got a response. The response I felt was less than acceptable. Sorry my phone was on silent . Quote ‘I made a mistake I apologise and it won’t happen again’ Obviously that doesn’t work for me as I’m not going back anyway.

Enjoyable and relaxing

Very comfortable and well equipped, the outdoor terrace was an added bonus to relax on as the weather was nice. Parking next to the property was also nice to avoid carrying bags etc

Was a longer walk into town than we thought it would be (we are fast walkers) as it looked closer to town on the map before we booked. But it did have a shop, pub & park next door which made life easier.

Lovely spacious apartment a short walk from the centre of York

Lovely spacious modern feeling apartment. Bedrooms are all well sized and having two showers and toilets is great. Excellently situated on Clifton Green with a lovely pie shop a couple of doors away. Easy walk into the centre of York and great there is parking available.

Enjoyed our two night stay here, perfect for a longer stay to make use of the kitchen facilities.

Lovely clean and comfortable property with excellent kitchen facilities and spacious layout. Shop across the road for essentials.

We opted for this property because it was listed as having two bathrooms but it only had two toilets, not two bathrooms. We required two showers, so that we could all get ready for the races at the same time, so that was a little misleading. Somewhere to sit with a mirror, for the ladies to do hair and make-up in the bedrooms should be provided - so many properties overlook this. Also, it would be helpful to indicate that the accommodation was in the main building as we spent some time looking at the rear where we collected the key and where individual accommodation and parking was situated.

Not suitable for four and dirty

Dirty, hairs on the bed and window sill, rubbish in the freezer. Unsuitable for four people. The sofa is broken and only one person can fit there. Very noisy sleeping in the living room as the car park and cars passing above your head level and shower running above sounds like a heavy rain. Very far from town. Either 30 minutes walk or one to two buses. Being reminded constantly of tidy the place, take out the rubbish and wash the dishes; I felt my mum was alive again! Not to mention the late check in and the, so early check out. Definitely the worst place I've ever stayed in my life. We were all very disappointed.

The apartment is very clean, modern and efficient furniture, every bedroom has a window overlooking the garden, especially the kitchen is very nice with panoramic glass doors overlooking the park. Great location.

Pleasant stay and the owners have clearly spent time and money on creating excellent appartments.

A lovely clean, spacious and well-equipped apartment. My teenage son decided to sleep on the sofa on the living room and he found that comfortable. We felt spoilt with a TV in every room. Good shower - warm with decent water flow. The location is ideal if you don't mind a 20 minute walk to York town centre (we didn't). This meant that it was quiet at night too, other than a little traffic noise (but this died down in the later evening). Also well located for local running routes.

Nothing we didn't like once we'd worked out the induction hob (which in fairness, isn't difficult). Ideally there would be seperate communal recycling bins but we took ours away, so no harm done.
