The upstairs toilet has a macerator. We could only pee in this. Was a bit inconvenient as one of our party has IBS, and goes a lot!

The house was in a great location and central to all the activities you would want to visit when in York. There bed linen was nice and clean, as was the rest of the house. Very informative guest folder and nice touch with the tea bags and biscuits when we arrived. The toilet on the middle floor was pretty noisy as it was macerater toilet so we tended not to use this. There was also plenty of parking outside or near the property on the street.

The location of the property was fantastic, extremely central for everything.
Very dated inside the property, full of bird muck in the outside courtyard. Hairs found in bathrooms within sink, shower and bath. The upstairs bathroom had all of the relevant facilities, however a notice to advise that the toilet could only be used for urinating was inadequate for 5 of us! Dirty windows which were full of dead flies on the inside was unpleasant and unhygienic.
