About this house rental
This fabulous property right in the heart of York city centre is just minutes away from any of the main attractions and shopping streets. The property has commanding views down Petergate, with glimpses of the Minster from rear windows at the top of the property.
Accommodating up to 8 people in four bedrooms, the property is accessed from street level off Low Petergate, with an entrance hall and utility storage at ground level - perfect for bikes and push chairs. An interesting Escher-like staircase layout takes you up to the first floor with spacious living room and a separate large dining room for formal dining. There is a separate kitchen which also has a small seating area.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are all on the 2nd and 3rd floors, and comprise; 2nd floor - large double bedroom, and smaller double bedroom with family bathroom on the landing with a shower over a bath, and 3rd floor - large bedroom with 3 single beds (or can be configured as a single and SuperKing) and smaller room with a large single, with bathroom on the landing which includes a shower unit.
The kitchen is well equipped with electric oven and hob, washing machine and dishwasher, toaster, microwave and kettle. The fridge is a full height fridge/freezer.
The property is spacious and well equipped and also secondary glazed, so you can enjoy the city centre location and views without any of the disturbance. Open the windows slightly and enjoy the sound of hustle and bustle and local street musicians.
Within the precinct of York Minster and minutes away from any of the city centre attractions.

Please respect the property and furnishings when bringing your dog. Towels will be provided in the entrance hall for mucky wet feet to be dried off before heading upstairs

When you book with us, we will ask for your email address and then send you full check in details. You will need to collect the keys from our office (Wheelwrights YORK, 71 Micklegate) before heading to the property - for out of hours where will be a keybox to the rear of our office for key collection.

Perfect house to explore York from!! There were 7 of us and more than enough space. We sid need to use the local ER which would have been easier if the house had a land line phone. Overall I loved it and would definitely recommend it -make sure you have good knees 53 stairs from the front soor to the top floor!

The Tv speakers were awful and muffled plus a plug in bath broken, went to tell them and they immediately replaced the tv, and mended plug. The tv was not tuned in but did not effect our stay. Lots of noise between 5.00 am and morning but we accept that is city centre living.Bed very soft rolled into centre and marks on sheets. But generally very nice

Such an amazing property in the very heart of York and its beautiful cobbled streets and old buildings. I would say the lovely pictures don't even do this stunning house justice. Communication was fantastic and costumer service second to none. Prosecco had been left for us in the kitchen which was such a lovely gesture and much appreciated. The house was tastefully decorated for the festive period. Couldnt have asked for more. Highly recommended.
