A good choice for a stay in the beautiful city of York

The location was excellent. Right in the centre of York. The property was warm, cozy and comfortable

It was very noisy at night and early morning. However we stayed over New Year so it was understandable. Be aware the steps from the front door to the apartment are very steep

There was water ingress from the high roof in the kitchen due to maintenance needed on the beams. The heating instructions whilst clear didn’t include the need to turn the timer on the wall in the kitchen. The blind in second bedroom need repair to allow them to close easily.

Great comfortable convenient location to the city.

Lovely spacious property with everything we needed for a two day break. Very comfortable and clean. Bed linen and towel great quality and the complimentary toiletries very nice too. Fantastic location.

People with mobility issues need to be aware of the number of stairs within the property.

Having to get your key from the key box down the alleyway where the bin store was. Bin bags overflowing. Dirty and very smelly, having to try and hold my breath while using the key box

Needs some attention

Location during the daytime was good, easy to access the key, nice decor, good night lights.

The glass roof needs a really good clean, it was very off putting to look at. The cobwebs need removing in the lving area around the glass roof. The damp smell needs fixing. The damp walls in the kitchen need attention. The upstairs shower extractor needs replacing with something that has a volume you can sleep with. Additionally the night-time noise was ridiculous but that's not really the vendors fault but be aware - York at night is very noisy in this location!

Weekend away with friends

Excellent location, right in the middle of York centre. Minutes from the Shambles and the Minster. Fabulous accommodation, perfect for our party.

Very impressed , fantastic location right in the centre of York , lots of lovely cafes and restaurants close by , pub across the road

The only downside was the noise from the pub across the road late on at night , maybe suggest some thicker double glazing also lots of steps up to the property so not good for people with restricted mobility

Excellent & immaculate

Absolutely fabulous place. Everything we needed. Only thing is not great if disabled as stairs are steep in hall entrance, an upstairs to 2 sets bedrooms. We managed. But just heads up for others. Otherwise Couldnt fault this great house, never felt like apartment. High spec decor. Definitely retuning . 5 older ladies & we all agreed. Thank you .

Heating wasn’t working well and we were there in Jan when it was very cold. Contacted the property mgt co and they sent someone round straight away to sort it. Still took a while to heat up, but great service.

Excellent location in central York

Amazing location right in the centre of the city. Fully equipped property and easily accommodated 5 adults.

Because of central location there was obvious street noise at night but didn’t detract from a great stay.

the twin beds were terrible!!! why are the wrapped in hard plastic?? it’s like sleeping in a giant crisp packet. The stairs would be unmanageable if you had any joint problems.

Apartment was perfect Brilliant location Very clean but only surface clean could do with a deep clean in some areas, (dusting and windows. . Needs a good hoover, cob webs and hoover under beds n furniture....but the bedding, kitchen, shower n loo were clean so that is the main thing We will stay again Thanks the Davos, Wilson's and Collywobs

Unfortunately on the Saturday night the pub opposite played very loud music which we found very difficult to sleep with. While I understand this is not a reflection of the property itself it's a sacrifice for the ideal location.

Brilliant location in the middle of the shambles which meant we could pop back easily for meals, loo breaks. Lovely apartment set over 3 floors with a bathroom on the top and bottom floors. Very nicely decorated and comfortable for 6.

Secondary glazing didn't open in the top bedroom. Response from agent was very quick and fans were provided (and required) as it was v hot when we stayed.

Location was excellent. The apartment felt nice and big for a good price.

Needed a little clean. Stains around the floor/door in downstairs bathroom. Found what a believe to be a Christmas ornament on the floor under the sofa so obviously the place hasn’t been deep cleaned. Cold on arrival as previous noted but there’s radiators in all rooms

Fabulous Accommodation

Fabulous accommodation located in the centre of York, very spacious and clean. The accommodation has everything you would need including board games. Everything is basically on your doorstep. Check-in & check-out was really easy. There are a few steps to get to the property and two of the bedrooms have a flight of stairs, just to bear in mind however we would definitely recommend & stay here again.

The only thing we would comment on really is the noise at night, but it is to be expected being across from a pub that has live bands on Friday nights.

Great location but rather poor level of care taken to ensure a great stay for paying customers.

Fantastic location, size of open plan kitchen/living area was excellent. Decor was really nice.

It was FREEZING and no one had bothered to turn the heating on before we arrived. So we were hit by a wave of cold, damp, mildew smell the minute we arrived. With only electric heaters to heat 3 floors of apartment, the open living space never managed to get warm. There were also some pretty fundamental cleaning misses…. 1). were chunks of crumbled mud(?) on the floor in the twin bedroom (we had to hoover before using the use) 2) the bath was peppered with dust and what looked like small bits of plaster - so we didn’t use it 3) when moving the armchair in the living room closer to the heater, we found 20+ nuts littered underneath it 4) very obvious layer of dust on multiple surfaces…hard not to see on black TV stand
