Delightful Central York House

Excellent location. Nicely renovated and plenty of room. Very comfortable.

Parking was very difficult and took some time for us to resolve. It is deceptive to say street parking. No dryer but a washing machine so that is no help for a travelling family needing to catch up. Having one washing pod to assist would also be useful, and maybe a couple of milk pods. Booking.com gave wrong access code so getting in and settled was difficult.

Location was good.

No parking, though website photos indicated onsite parking. Very expensive parking approx 5 minute walk away.

We had the wrong pin no. for the key box so had to 'phone for help which was quickly given but had us in a bit of a panic. There was no information about the equioment provided- how to use it etc. particularly the oven nor was there any local info. for doctors etc.. The oven and pyrex dishes and pans were very greasy and we had to wash the dishes before we could use them. This was a pity as it did not fit with the quality of everything else provided

Not very clean, carpets in particular need a deep clean, there’s a huge water stain on the dining room ceiling and there’s mould above the shower.
