Sycamore Apartments

Great location, clean and tidy, very comfortable bed, very quiet.

Nothing.

Spacious room. Good communication with staff. Quiet property. Clean. Pleasant 10-15min walk to town centre.

Slight sewerage smell emanating from bathroom. We just kept the door closed.

Excellent location for getting to & from the railway station (10 minute walk) and the city centre (15 minute walk along the river)

There was a very strange smell in the hall / stairwell of the house (it did not penetrate to the flat though :) )

The room size, the kitchen being behind doors (blocks noise and light) and the communication from the hosts were great. The parking lot is small but there were plenty of spaces (price is more expensive than in their comms though) and getting into the room was a breeze.

The room looks good on entry but is very dated, with older fixtures and broken bits that could easily be rectified. The biggest issue for me was the cleanliness. There was mould in the bathroom, which is understandable but still a health risk. However, there was a large build up of mould on the kitchen sink tap. I noticed green floating "things" in a glass of water so looked under the tap and was horrified by the amount of build up, it made me feel sick to my stomach (photos attached) and clearly hasn't been cleaned for a very long time.
