Sycamore Apartments

The property was in the perfect location , it was clean , comfortable and had everything we needed.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like it was lovely.

Location was good, around 15 mins steady walk into town with places to stop for a drink on the way. Apartment is quiet and comfortable. Appreciate we had to make a very late.booking due to our previous booking elsewhere. Thankfully this booking was expedited which was appreciated

Parking is expensive. I don't think this is anything to do with apartment but its essential as virtually no free.on site on cheaper parking as its quite close to the the train station.

Light and modern

The room size, the kitchen being behind doors (blocks noise and light) and the communication from the hosts were great. The parking lot is small but there were plenty of spaces (price is more expensive than in their comms though) and getting into the room was a breeze.

The room looks good on entry but is very dated, with older fixtures and broken bits that could easily be rectified. The biggest issue for me was the cleanliness. There was mould in the bathroom, which is understandable but still a health risk. However, there was a large build up of mould on the kitchen sink tap. I noticed green floating "things" in a glass of water so looked under the tap and was horrified by the amount of build up, it made me feel sick to my stomach (photos attached) and clearly hasn't been cleaned for a very long time.
