It was a lovely quirky house which was perfect for our family girlie get together. The owner was helpful with all the questions we asked and the house was well equipped for our stay.
The location was excellent for our activities in York
It’s a shame there was only one parking permit,which I understand was down to the local council, but there was very few cars parked in the road during our stay which made it quite annoying we’d had to pay for one of our cars to be parked elsewhere when there was plenty of space to park in the street

Fantastic location and a really lovely quirky place to stay.
Very quiet and peaceful despite being so close to the city centre.
Would recommend and definitely stay again.
There was nothing about the property we didn’t like.
Just a couple of bits of feedback.
Would recommend a dishwasher instead of a washing machine but that’s a minor recommendation not a deal breaker.
There is only a permit for one car which we only knew about as we arrived.
We had to look for alternative parking for the second car. This would be good to have known about earlier. But after we checked out we were able to leave the car for another couple of hours which was a nice touch.

The property was in an ideal location within an easy flat 10 minute walk of York city centre. It’s a quirky cottage with lovely pictures and little cute ornaments wherever you look. The little terrace was a lovely addition especially as it was so hot while we were there. It was a good size for 3 couples to have their own space.
Not a major issue but there was quite a lot of cobwebs and the floor didn’t look hoovered and definitely hadn’t been washed. We spilled a little water on the floor and when we wiped it up the paper towel was very dirty.

-No milk in fridge
-No cushions for outdoor terrace furniture
-Water pressure & temperature of both bathroom showers unrealible if both in use or if kitchen tap used whilst shower in use.
