Lovely cosy house in a great location. Great touch to be decorated for Christmas. All amenities needed for a weekend break. Clean, comfortable and christmassy! Beds were comfy, including the sofa bed!!

Lovely apartment. Very cosy and had most things we needed. Very clean and the Christmas decorations were so lovely!

It's not something that I didn't like but I will say it is not a 5 minute walk from York Minster (more like 15) My mum is 80 and found the walk (although flat) difficult to the Minster. We had to order Uber's to take us so it cost £10 every time we made the journey. Also 10am checkout is very early. That being said, if I go back with my husband, I would definitely stay again!

Great property in good location

Great property in a fantastic location. The property was really clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. It was near a park to walk our dog and only a few minutes walk from the centre. Communication with the host was also really good and we loved our stay. Would highly recommended.

Lovely, charming apartment. Clean, convenient for walking to the city centre. Ideal for our older family with every facility we could need. I’d definitely go again! Ooh and a very comfortable bed.

Amazing Accommodation

There is nothing to fault about this apartment! It's exactly as described with everything you could think of provided. The furnishings are lovely and cosy and the beds and couches super comfy. We only had one night and I wish it was longer. It's easy walking distance to the Shambles and York Minster and all the main attractions. The best place we have stayed on our travels in the UK. And thanks to Amy for her super quick and friendly correspondence.

The house was lovely , the location is just perfect with a 5min walk into town , though it took us a little longer get as the pub round the corner was doing pizzas in the bear garden which were amazing

Wonderful stay

great location, walking distance from the train. And then also walking distance to hire a car the next day. She even allowed us to extend our hire car for parking for a few hours after checkout so we could spend some more time in York. What a beautiful walk around York city walls. Really enjoyed our time here. Lovely host.

Everything, was such a lovely apartment, very clean, hosts even left a little bottle of milk for us in the fridge which was a great touch. Bed was super comfy, lovely decor, helpful hosts. We tried to book an extra night but was booked up, we will definitely book again in the future!

Bootham Apartment was beautifully clean and had everything we needed. It was in a lovely quiet street of York and it was the perfect place to stay. You could easily stay here for a week and be comfortable. We parked directly outside and it was only a five minute walk into the centre.

It felt like a home away from home.

The property was really clean and cosy. The owner was always quick to respond and was really friendly. The property has permit parking out front sorted by the owner. A great location and fairly quiet overnight.

Only problem we had was the WiFi wasn’t the best and the tv’s would buffer. We only stayed one night so it wasn’t really much of an issue.

Excellent property for a short break

Spacious and clean, excellent location and free parking for one car. The communication with the host was excellent. Quiet neighbourhood. Less than 10 minutes walk to the city centre. Dog friendly with a little courtyard in the back.

Some ‘marks’ in the toilet bowl when we arrived meaning it has not been cleaned properly. Previous guest left half eaten packet of crisps and biscuits in the kitchen cupboard which should have been removed by the cleaner.
