City Centre Duplex Home Next To York Minster With Parking

Faye was a gracious and helpful host who made sure that we had understood the directions for entering the home and that we had been settled. Top marks for his responsiveness throughout the stay! The flat was exactly as pictured, clean, well decorated and comfortable. He had obviously been responsive to previous input and there was a small amount of coffee, tea and milk for our use upon arrival. There was also some basic cooking spices available too. Ample cleaning supplies for sure. Faye brought extra towels for us because the showers have no step and we didn't want to track water along the bathroom floors - he was so responsive, within minutes. The basement bathroom was spacious with a huge tub! If one didn't want to climb down stairs at night, there was a smaller bathroom on the bedroom floor a few steps away. Probably the easiest host to communicate with we've ever had. The beds were so comfortable! We highly recommend this lovely property.

The smaller of the two bedrooms had no nightstands or lamps and the channel lineup was programmed for children, not adults. Not a big deal, but if adults are staying in the smaller bedroom, you might want to be aware of this. It did not detract from our stay. It is always helpful for a host to have a Welcome to my Home book, to help tourists figure out how to use the basics and where to shop, etc.

The apartment is clean and comfortable The rooms may be small but the living room is spacious. It’s within walking distance to the city centre. The location is great, with various restaurants and supermarket nearby. The owner is responsive and attends to the needs readily.

Would appreciate if there are hand towel & hand soap and shampoo & shower gel provided. The shower cubicle has no door/curtain, so the toilet floor is really cold and wet after showering. Would be good to have a floor mat.

We booked this apartment super last minute and couldn't have been happier. The place was spotlessly clean, the location was excellent and the host was lovely and incredibly quick to respond to any messages. Would definitely stay here again!

It was clean and had everything we needed.

The property was not located where advertised! It was nearly half a mile further out of town and I chose the location specially as I have mobility issues. The downstairs bathroom did not have good ventilation so got very damp after our showers and started to smell. The upstairs wet room was not well done as everything got soaked in it too.
