Great location with view

The location was perfect, not only right in the mid of everything, but also above a sainsbury's express ..the view from the lounge window was fantastic

The beds were too firm for my liking and there wasn't enough seating for 4 people to be comfortable...if you want to lounge and watch TV and there's 4 of you thats not going to happen...if they added another settee it would be perfect...some people may prefer firm beds so that could be preference,

A really good and conveniently located place for a visit to York.

The apartment was well equipped, very comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring York. We could get everywhere we wanted to visit by a short walk, Having a supermarket in the building was great as well. The information sent to us about getting the keys was very clear and very timely.

Apartment was exactly what was needed for a short stay, well thought out and comfortable, and in a great location just a couple of minutes to get to the Minster area. Great pub (The Exhibition) very close. Parking a big benefit.

Would have preferred entrance instructions a little earlier just for peace of mind when going somewhere for the first time

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The views of York Minster were incredible, and the rooms were very spacious. Location was also great.

Good apartment in great location in York

The location of the apartment was great for walking into the centre of York and access to the train station and all the tourist attractions with a very handy Sainsbury’s underneath. Parking was brilliant and easily accessible. The hosts were receptive and very helpful and checking in was very easy. It was a really good size apartment with spacious bedrooms, sitting room and bathrooms.

The single beds and bedding were not very comfortable. Although relatively clean overall, the ceramics, the throw on the settee were not completely clean and there was a dirty t-towel left with no dishwasher tablets and not enough toilet paper supplied. Facilities could have been better overall and seemed very dated. There was a smell underneath the sink which got worse when the sink was emptied, the toaster smelled when we tried to use it, the toilets did not flush easily and the extractor fan was very noisy. The sofa had no cushions and the springs were a bit broken so was a little uncomfortable.

Cosy , immaculate with beautiful view

Lovely view and clean with modern decor and facility’s

Nothing at all . Small minor inconvenience with accessing the property via the garage but was not to much of an issue with walking round the building . I feel that there could have been a better contact though incase of emergency . Phone number given was uncontainable. Also we would have liked an extra key as there was 3 of us staying in the apartment . Overall though we had a lovely stay here on Christmas Eve and Christmas night .

Great location, not wheelchair friendly

The apartment is in a great location, short walk to everything in the city centre. It's a nice, clean apartment.

On the morning off our booking I had contacted the host to get check in information as I did not want to arrive on the weekend before Xmas and not be able to find an alternative if we could not get in. I did get the information after contacting customer services as the contact number did not connect. We booked this apartment because it is listed as wheelchair accessible. Luckily I have a dynamic disability and did not take my wheelchair as the lift was not working when we arrived. When we got upstairs to the door leading to the balcony we were on there was a large step onto the unlit balcony which I fell down as there is no sign or marking to indicate there is a step. I started our trip with what I later discovered was a sprained ankle and fractured foot. There is also a step into the apartment too, so I would not advise booking if you do have limited mobility.

Lovely apartment, apart from a few problems. Great view and very clean. A very good location.

Reception on the television could have been better, would recommend an upgrade. Also the washing machine was not working properly, did not drain so had to telephone host to advise them of this. Sofa not very comfortable, would also recommend upgrade.

Warm and spacious. Well equipped. Great central location. The secure parking is such a bonus with these apartments. Good check in communication with the property.

Having stayed before we preferred the apartment on the next level with a better view of the minster. It seemed cleaner and better maintained last year. The mattresses in the twin room weren’t very comfortable and we stripped our beds at the end of the stay and the duvets were ripped in some places but worse the mattress protectors on all the beds including the double were heavily stained which if we had known before we would have requested these to be changed, this find was rather unpleasant for us and for good standards of hygiene! . We did feel it wasn’t as clean as previous stays. The wardrobe door wasn’t working to be able to slide it shut but a maintenance man came as we were leaving to undertake work on the apartment. Extra care with cleaning behind bedroom furniture and the lamps and ensuring that all linen / mattress and pillow protectors are hygienic and clean should be of paramount importance.

Absolutely fantastic apartment with stunning views of the cathedral, illuminated at night, mesmerizing. Couldn't fault a thing. Perfect, Didn't realize that there were actually 2 bathrooms in the 2 bedroom apartment,1 on suite, bath and 2 showers,1 large walk in shower.

less than a mile walk to York Minster, lots of restaurants and pubs easy walking distance. Great Location.

A couple of the blinds had missing slats so light got through and the living room was very warm due to the wall of glass letting heat in. Bedrooms were much cooler thank goodness fans were provided :-) Toilet was broken and plumber came while were there and called again later while we were at a restaurant. We would have prefered the repairs to be done before we arrivved or after we left not during our stay.

The view

No instuctions for hob or microwave so could not use. Lift on Sunday did not come up unless you pressed it on the ground floor. Small amounts of cleaning products. No instuctions as to the disposal of rubbish. No welcome pack.

Fabulous stay - comfy beds 10/10

The property was near all tourist locations with a 10 minute or so walk to the Shambles. The property was immaculate with all amenities you want. The Sainsbury’s below the building was useful.

The property was way too hot with no opening windows in the living room area. There were fans in each room for use but this didn’t really do much. We needed fresh air. We were out a lot so this only really mattered in the morning. There were small windows in the bedrooms which was great. The beds were so comfy with quality sheets and the towels were of a good quality.
