Great property in the perfect location

Easy to get keys as code was sent promptly. This is a great property in the perfect location. It is tastefully furnished and all the rooms are comfortable. Beds were all really comfortable.

We were a little surprised that there were no recycling facilities in the property as it felt wrong putting all the rubbish in the same bin

It was in a great location, it had all amenities, it was comfortable and well maintained… would definitely stay there again..

Location was ideal and lovely comfy beds for everyone

Hairdryer in main bedroom was damaged but we just used one of the others. No handwash in bathrooms - had to go buy some for each bathroom.

Lovely home and great location for visiting an amazing city!

Beautiful property with lots of lovely homely decorations to give that cosy feel. Well equipped kitchen and very comfy beds. Once the heating was on, it got lovely and warm!

Basic items missing like hand soap in en-suite , no condiments, oil etc, no kitchen roll, no cling film/ foil no washing capsules. All these are normally found in rental properties. Behind the sofa hadn’t been cleaned - paper love hearts found!

Loved York and the location of Priestley House.

Location was perfect. Parking easy. The property was clean and comfortable.

I wasn't aware of the very steep staircases when I booked. It was difficult to get the luggage up and down the stairs. We coped as have no mobility issues. However this feature should be pointed out in the property specification, as anyone with a mobility problem would struggle. The bedrooms without ensuite are very small but comfortable and well appointed. Both toilets are on the top floor, so occupants of the room downstairs had to negotiate the difficult staircase in the middle of the night.

Lovely accommodation in the perfect location!

Beautiful property, amazing location to the Minster and that side of York. Great set up for a group of friends/family/couples. Double beds in each room with very comfy mattresses!

No welcome pack/treats which has really become the norm for this style of let. There could have been slightly better basics left such as salt/pepper and more hand towels. Sharing 1 hand towel per bathroom isn’t ideal. Some outdoor chairs would be ideal for the small balcony!

Excellent location. Lovely accommodation with comfortable beds, lovely decor and furnishings. Both bathrooms did have showers which were excellent. There was also a bath.

Although great location it was very noisy as the property was next to the main road. The TV didn’t have an aerial and wasn’t tuned in and you could only watch steaming services.

Great location, but can be noisy in the evenings.

The location is ideal, as the flat is located steps away from the city center. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

Cutlery and dishes were dirty (coffee/tea stains in the mugs, and cutlery and plates had food residue on them). We had to wash everything before being used. No kitchen rolls or shampoo or soap in the bathrooms. Should you stay here, be aware that there is a lot of noise from the street below (traffic, ambulances and pedestrians).

There were spiders and cobwebs in the bath in the upper stairs. Empty bottles outside where the main bin was. The glasses weren't clean, we had to wash them ourselves before use ie: lipstick on the rim of one of the glasses.

Self catering. Location was excellent, if a little noisy due to main road but access to everything was in easy walking distance.

Although we were allowed in earlier due to there being nobody in the premises the evening before, the usual check in time of 4pm is very late considering the check out time. Appreciate this seems a common arrangement after covid. There was no welcome pack of any sort but there is a shop opposite in case people are arriving very late.

Really well setup and decorated. Comfortable beds, nice and clean bathrooms, good kitchen facilities and fantastic location!

It is extremely noisy from the road traffic. We had to wear earplugs to sleep at night even with the windows closed. Every car, truck and drunk person yelling sounded like they were in the room with us!

Excellent location on the edge of the city centre. Great shower and comfy beds.

There were only three of us staying so it wasn't an issue, but if there had been six then only having two bathrooms may have been a problem. Also the property is on three levels so wouldn't be suitable for anyone that struggles with stairs.

As the property was on one of the Main roads in York the traffic was very noisy - seemed all through the night! The property was single glazed which I understand with the age of the building but for someone who finds it difficult to sleep the road noise was considerable! Shame because the property was beautiful!

luxury apartment in great location.

well maintained property and in a good location. was very clean and communal spaces were very comfortable. bed linens and towels were good quality and beds very comfortable. all kitchen equipment was good and to high standard. really nice property and would book again.

the master bedroom was really lovely and spacious but the other bedrooms were much smaller by comparison- they were comfortable but disproportionate in terms of space. rooms were a bit noisy at night - maybe need some double glazing in the bedrooms. was no problem for us as we are used to traffic and pedestrian noise but maybe disturbing for people who live in quieter locations.

Nice interior but misleading.

Great location in that it's very close to the city walls and the Minster. Very nicely decorated and furnished. Comfortable beds. Agency dealt well with some issues regarding the cleaning. Main bedroom, lounge and kitchen are exceptional, however, be aware 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are very small for doubles with little room for moving around, or luggage etc.

It is described as a townhouse, but it isn't. It's a maisonette above some shops or offices. I should have realised it was not as I expected as there are no outside photographs. To me, staying in a townhouse is worth more than a maisonette above shops. It's on a very busy and noisy road into the city, with all the bedrooms facing that road and only single glazing. There is a nearby pub that plays loud music late into the night. Again, something that is not clear from the photographs or description. Not having accurate information led me to choose this more expensive property over other cheaper ones which were clearly apartments, because it led me to envisage a townhouse fronting onto a green, which it is not. I feel more photographs should be added showing the front and rear of the properties, and that the description should be changed to say it's an apartment or maisonette, and not a townhouse. That way people can make up their own minds as to whether it's what they want and worth the price being charged.

Lots of places to see within easy reach. Spotlessly clean, well appointed and warm.

Excellent location near the centre of York. Restuarants, pubs places of interest all close to hand. On a main road in to and out of York so easy to locate. Easy to contact with very quick responses.

Not the property fault but parking is very expensive. Single glazing on the windows so there was a lot of night time noise, Issue with a leak in the bathroom but they notified us of this prior to arrival so it wasn't a nasty surprise.
