The property is well designed and the furnishings were really good quality.

When walking in the main door there’s a strong damp smell. The apartment itself doesn’t have air conditioning which was a shame given the spec of the apartment, and the heatwave we were having at the time of our stay. The apartment itself was lovely, but the floors hadn’t been hoovered properly and there was a build up of dust. There was also a lot of noise from a bar until 2am and the refuse collectors from about 5am so whilst it’s a great central location, be prepared for noise as there’s no double glazing.

The location is fantastic. Right in the centre of York.

I’m afraid the heat in the apartment was unbearable at times. There does seem to be air conditioning but it did not seem to work which with the heat we were experiencing when we were there made the apartment very very hot. One portable fan was provided to help but we could have done with more.

Loved the location Room was great Shower room and bath were spotless Overall cleanliness was good

The view and location, where amazing.

The apartment would be lovely in the winter. But not having an aircon in there when the weather outside was in the thirties was horrible. We could not escape the heat!. We had to sit by the river most nights until midnight until the apartment cooled down. The heat inside was unbearable and didn’t make the trip enjoyable.
