Three days not long enough! So comfortable.

Location excelled our expectations. Just a few steps from the city walls and then The Minster. Restaurants were in that area and the choice was incredible. Breakfast was available closer. Pub on the corner opposite Sainsbury’s did full English or other and two doors away was a very popular small breakfast cafe called North South. Three nights not long enough. Worth mentioning that blue badge holders get unlimited free parking in the Bootham Row car park and it’s very close to the flat.

Unloading out front was a little dodgy as we had to park over the bike lane. Just need to be quick, then get the car to the car park. Could have done with a shelf above the sink for toiletries and a hook for hanging a dressing gown when showering. Everything had to sit on the toilet seat which is not ideal.

Very disappointing for the cost

The bedrooms were very nice, location good.

The sofa bed was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever tried to sleep on, completely hard and gaps in it on top of this the fridge made a noise less than ever hour all night long so I did not get any sleep at all. Thankfully there were not two people on the sofa bed as it was not long enough or wide enough for 1! Also the yellow throw on the sofa smelled like stale sweat. I expressed my concerns to the management company and they disputed what I said saying the sofa bed is “very new” and they haven’t had any complaints about the fridge noise. They said because I didn’t make my complaints at the time, at 1am on a Saturday!- and they weren’t given the opportunity to rectify them at the time then there is nothing they can do! Their emergency phone line closes at 9.30pm so it was impossible for me to complain! They would not accept this. The only compensation I was offered was a measly 10% off future stays! I get more discount with my blue light card off other places that aren’t over £400 for 18 hours. This place should not be listed to sleep 6.

A perfect week

The location is amazing. So close to the minster and in a really nice part of the city. The property was so modern and clean. Really comfortable. The free parking is great! the staff that manage the property were excellent. Would definitely recommend!

It is very very hot in the property and difficult to cool it down. The weather wasn’t particularly hot during the week we stayed but the bedrooms were still 24 degrees at night.

Fabulous location, beautiful apartment

Excellent location, great view of York Minster from apartment. Apartment was nicely furnished , bedrooms good and nice lounge /kitchen area. It got a bit chilly one night and it was easy to turn on the heating with a hive device and it warmed up quickly. was concerned how parking would work, but got a space easily at Bootham Row Car park and it all worked fine

Good location, clean presentable and would recommend a stay here

Great position not far from centre of town. We found it easy to navigate around York from here. The unit was clean and very well presented. The beds were comfortable. The parking is a short walk from the unit but wasn't too much of an issue for us. we would recommend this unit for a stay in York.

Lovely stay in fabulous appartment in centre of York - free parking one car only

This is a really lovely place to stay . It is beautifully decorated to high spec and very comfortable- kitchen well equip for a few days stay and ensuite showers very good / one of the rooms has a separate shower suite across the hall but it works well enough . The location is superb in York itself, very close the the Minster and 10 mins walk to central shopping and restaurants with Sainsbury’s just across the road. It was a warm spell when we visited and fans were provided in each room … fridge with small top box freezer was good , dishwasher and washing machine. Lift to the 2nd floor was great … Had alot of phone calls to and from the accommodation office mainly about the parking and they were polite professional and helpful - even on a Sunday so thanks to them too

Be aware that the accommodation title says ‘free parking ‘ it turned out that it is only for 1 car -as a 2 bed property I think they should make that clear as we were meeting friends there then had a real hassle with organising parking - couldn’t get a space in the closest car park as it suggests but there is council parking fairly near which we used but despite 1 car being free we were charged on exit for both cars and now have to get a refund for the ‘free’ one - add that to the cost of the stay and it wasn’t such good value for money …

Outstanding Apartment

Information to access the property was clear and exactly as described on our arrival. What can I say apart from perfect. The apartment was spotlessly clean, modern and spacious. We had a clear view of the minster and the city centre was less than a 10 minute walk away. Jo, in particular, who I spoke to a couple of times before we visited couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. All in all we had a fantastic time and would definitely stay here again.

Property was well equipped, warm and very comfortable, it was central for all York attractions, and for shopping or drinking/eating. and restaurants

The key boxes were too high for me to reach, I am 5ft 4” but couldn’t see the numbers on the top of the box, luckily we had a tall person with us. The extractor fans didn’t work in either of the bathrooms and the sink plugs were faulty.

Wonderfully clean apartments in an incredible location! Would recommend.

The property was excellent but what was particularly impressive and incredibly helpful was that we had to extend our check out time at the last minute because of our baby. Claire was incredibly helpful and managed to give us a couple more hours to check out! Thank you Claire, really appreciate it! You made our stay so much more comfortable ❤️

Wonderful. Loved it. Perfectly located

The apartment was lovely. Comfortable with everything required for a stay in stunning York. Perfect location to the centre. Parking was expensive £60 for 48 hours but handy for the apartment.

The wardrobe storage situation was tricky as there was nowhere to hang clothes. One room had a hat stand and the other a small chest of drawers. Not ideal but we managed.
