Fifth Quarter Apartment with Free Parking

Comfortable and spacious flat, great location just outside the city walls.

The street was a little noisy but fine with the window shut.

Location was perfect to get to all.major attractions. The apartment very comfortable and well equipped

The front door into the block had a broken lock and was left insecure for two nights. Very slow repair as was open to main road where anyone could walk into the communal hall and stairs to our apartment on first floor

Location was good with parking a real bonus, comfortable and host excellent, we had a small issue with the WiFi and they turned up within 10mins to sort out the problem

Could have been slightly better maintained but not major enough problems to bother the host. Parking space was a bit tight but I do have an SUV would be easier with a smaller car

When we arrived, the first thing we smelt was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke within the living room. Even though it states that the property is meant to be non smoking. I do not understand how the cleaning didn’t see that as an issue. It seems as if no effort was made to eradicate the smell. We contacted the team that manage this property, the response was OPEN THE WINDOWS?! We had to go out and purchase cleaning products, and use them twice a day to get rid of the smell. It took two and a half days for the property to smell ok (which was most of our stay). The cleanliness of the property was ok, but certain areas were done half heartedly. The bathroom was dusty, and the fridge shelves needed cleaning. Which again we had to clean ourselves. The handwash soap that was left, looked as if it had been obtained from a bargain basement store. The WIFI did not work initially. The letting team did offer to come out and try to fix it. We managed to get it working, but the whole system (internet and WiFi) kept dropping out and would then need a compete reset.
