Great location, great communication shame about the stained bedding

Fantastic location Quickly replied when I contacted them about stained bedding

There was a big stain on one of the pillow cases. They had been laundered, but the stain was horrible and very visible

Comfortable and clean appartment, great location and reasonable price.

Location,once we did get our bearings with the help of local. It was easy walking distance to Shambles, market, Mister and great eating places

Bins and recycling bins were overflowing and we heard noises in the middle of the night by the bins. Could have been rats or urban foxes but the bins should have been left out to collect at last a week before our stay.

Good base to explore

Good location for exploring York and the accommodation was clean, comfortable and a good base from which to explore.

Visiting with my elderly mother on a very cold November weekend, the property was a little chilly. I fully appreciate the need for environment and cost efficiency but it was uncomfortably cold and there wasn’t the capacity to increase the temperature when we were in the property (instructions didn’t match the system).

Fantastic property. Reasonably well equipped. Super location and communication from host. Parking was close and details of this were well communicated. Accommodation was comfortable and clean.

Although kitchen was resources well, it lacked things like towels, cleaning clothes, a reasonable amount of dishwasher tablets and toilet roll.

Comfortable apartment and convenient location

Great location, clean apartment, and comfortable furniture! There were plenty of amenities and all the main sights in York were only a short walk away. The city centre was easy to walk to, and outside the property there was a courtyard with a picnic table. I also noticed that this location was very quiet, and the car park, although expensive, was extremely close so we did not have to carry bags far. Very happy with our stay.

Wrong key code sent-this was easy to fix though as the owners were quick to answer calls and mend any issues 😀

My group had an excellent weekend, made better by the fantastic apartments that were perfect for what we wanted.

The apartments were just what my group needed, excellent central location with only short walks to the main attractions in York. We visited with a group of 12, spread over 3 of the apartments, each apartment was clean and very comfortable and had everything you would need for a weekend away. The courtyard outside was a great way to mix and socialise with the other apartments, especially with the weather we had this weekend. Everybody in the group commented at how amazing the apartments were and how they would definitely stay here again if they were to visit York in the future.

Great property, well-suited to either a small or large group. Really enjoyed our stay.

I was one of a group of 10, having arranged 3 of the 4 flats as accommodation. I found the flats to be exceptionally clean and well presented. They were well equipped and very comfortable. A perfect location for a trip to York, given that they are within a short walk of the city centre.

2 Minsters Reach, very disappointing

The location was excellent except for £80.00 parking for 4 days. The parking prices quoted were not up to date.

No welcome pack. No hanging rail for smart clothes only coat hooks on wall which the clothes then hid the light switch and obstructed door. Bedroom 2 had drawers but nothing in bedroom 1. There were 4 of us in what we believe was for 6 people..... 4 bath towels but nowhere to hang them while showering or to dry. One hand towel, none in kitchen. One drying tea towel. Cereal bowls, not one matched in shape or size. 3 place mats, oven had to be sorted before we could use it to cook, no tea pot. Sofa was OK for friends to sit on but we sat on very uncomfortable chairs, not arm chairs. No coffee tables so had to put drinks on floor. Took cushions off beds and piled in lounge, useless as was ornaments. Caster broken on bed which had black marks around base. Bottom of oven fascias hanging off. 1st bedroom door jam had what looked like dry blood on it. Dirty marks on walls. Fridge, freezer compartment, was thick ice and cubes just filled whole compartment fused together. Took lots of photos. Neighbour borrowed batteries from husbands torch as her remote didn't work. We've stayed in 4 places in last month and this was the worst and most disappointing as location was excellent.

A nice stay in a brilliant location. It is clean & comfortable for a short stay.

Slight smell in bathroom (nothing terrible just a feint smell that suggests damp perhaps) & lock on front door presented a few challenges which was annoying. Although the host was on hand on one occasion & came straight away to help so that was brilliant. But I really think you need to change the lock.

Great little apartment!

Great little apartment in a great location! All that we needed for our stay and the information given was spot on! If you’re driving, the car park is right next to the apartment, but comes at a cost. The mattress on the bed is pretty soft too, but still comfortable. Despite this, we’d definitely stay here again. We had a great stay and York has so much to offer!

It was a pleasant stay and now a precious memory.

It was within walking distance to the centre which worked great for us and the children. It was spacious and in accordance to all descriptions on the website. Very useful book with a wealth of information on the kitchen table and pretty quiet despite central location both at day and night time. It was easy to access and the fact that it's by a car park was a game changer as we drove for several hours and packed a lot with us.

I couldn't get the hang of the thermostat and, at windy times, an unpleasant smell would come in through the bathroom vent.
