A beautiful property in the heart of York. Easy to find. 4 mi ute walk from the station. Spotlessly clean, great facilities, we spoke to the owners who were really helpful and friendly. Have to mention the bed was sooo comfortable. A wonderful stay will definitely be back
The only negative was the noise from McDonald's opposite but I was in a room to the rear of the house so not my problem 😆 There was also a supply of earplugs which was really thoughtful and eradicated the problem.

Had character and big enough for our group.
The winky floors were charming
We were not given the code to enter the front door - luckily a resident of the block let us in. The code we were given then allowed us into the flat - in the guide book we found the code for the outside door.
Given the weather, it would have been nice if the heaters were on before we arrived as it was very cold and that made it unwelcoming initially.

Needs some double glazing or some solution in front bedrooms.
Bathroom in large back bedroom icy and no heating. Unusable for bath or shower.

The property was quite spacious
Very limited in terms of a welcome pack a few sachets of milk a few sachets of coffee and a few teabags not what we’ve been used to in the past
Also it is opposite of 24 hour McDonald’s there was a riot going on until 3 am early Saturday morning and 5 am on Sunday morning which ended with the riot police coming. It was so so noisy. There was no way you could sleep if you’re in the front two bedrooms. And Saturday night early hours of Sunday 100 young people mainly men outside so so noisy.
