One Clementhorpe Maltings

Location was excellent for walking into York as well as having shops and pubs in close proximity. Bedrooms are well appointed. All the necessary facilities for easy self-catering. Great decor throughout the property.

Property is set across 4 floors which was not well advertised. The top floor is where two of the three bedrooms are located - no windows, only skylights - and was exceptionally hot during our stay. No toilet facilities until third floor.

Beautiful property

Room very hot - one of the bedroom skylight windows was not working and had been nailed shut.

The location was excellent, a great mini village feel to Bishy Road and really close to the city centre. The property was great so long as you are ok with stairs.

Some areas of the property had a mezzanine, with accompanying high ceilings which are obviously hard to reach for cleaning.

Good location close to most attractions and of course city centre

Electric Cooker switches off after a certain time you can’t use majority of the jobs all at once I understand it may be a safety feature but that makes it difficult for a big family that need to use the cooker again, there maybe ways round it but when you just want to take it easy the last thing you want is to research how a cooker works. The dish washer stopped working on the last day which made it difficult to clean up quicker and no one could come to check on it till we had gone so overall facilities could have been better
